Well, I was disappointed to hear thay in the video. Beside any resemblance to real life symbols, the up side down triforce is the triforce from Lorule, that at the time of Demise could be known as the dark world. Maybe Demise is only the god from this shadow world, parallel to Hylia in light world.

Think about this: Ganon learns of the legend of Majora and the mask. Somehow he finds a way to bring back Majora and the power of the mask, therefore Ganon travels to Termina to do so....

+Pizza Poosta You may have a great idea there...the Lost Woods has lost it's power to cross dimensions because of Ganon gaining the power of the mask. But there is a way not even Zelda knows about hidden in the Royal Archives. Involving fusion of the three Spiritual stones from Ocarina of Time and the Master Sword. And a legend of the Temple of Power with enough magic to restore the Lost Woods. That, the first half, then the second half involves arriving in Termina, finding the remains of the tribe that created the mask and learning the counter spell to stop the resurrection. And the moon would be where the final battle be. Just like the the original.

i love it except for the part about the fierce deity mask. it makes it seem like link was able to solve everything and everyone got a happy ending. The thing with majora's mask tho(being probably the darkest zelda game) is that it is literally impossible for link to solve everyone's problems in one 3 day cycle. Thus he has to rewind time each time. This means that although in one 3 day iteration link save the deku princess and restored the swamp, once he restarts the 3 days to go somewhere else or help someone else this time, everything he did in the previous 3 days has reversed. The entire situation is meant to feel completely futile. He will always have in the back of his mind once he restarts the 3 days that everything he did will be reversed.

So Demise is the Devil, and Ghirahim is Lucifer? Are you aware that those two things are the same thing? EDIT: Also, if you count the Manga (and Hyrule Historia does) then Majora's Mask was carved from the skin of the dragon Majora by the Fierce Deity.

Nick Edelmann It's widely accepted that Majora is female, due to the fact that when Majora takes on a humanoid form in the final battle the form appears to have ovaries, at least in the original version. That combined with the eyes being placed as breasts made a lot of people agree that Majora is female. But I agree, Majora should be just that, Majora

No he's talking about the mask. In the final battle, it throws away Skull Kid and takes on its own form, which is the one that appears female.

Rewatching this gave me a major idea about what Zelda Wii U could be about. We've already seen major Sheikah symbolism in Zelda Wii U. And we know that the Sheikah insurrectionists are quite possibly the Interlopers. If it is true that the Interlopers created both the Fused Shadows, and Majora's Mask, then that might explain not only the connection Twilight Princess has with Zelda Wii U (through amiibo), but also the connection Majora's Mask might have with Zelda Wii U (The Happy Mask Salesman saying he might appear in a future Zelda game). My mind is blown. I seriously hope Zelda Wii U has a lot to do with the Sheikah tribe, and the interlopers.

I really don't think Demise cursed them. Hylia did. Demise recognises that the heroes spirit and Hylia's descendents are born to destroy him but he cannot be permanently destroyed thus locking them into a never ending cycle. He tells them that it is their curse not that he is the one cursing them.

What if the Interlopers made the Fused Shadow, got banished and left the Shadow behind, and then got sent to the Twilight Realm before it was the Twilight Realm, made Majora, and then died off because of Majora's return on Skull Kid? What if, if Link wasn't there to bring about Majora's return, Termina would eventually become a land of Twilight?

It'd be cool to see what y'all think about the second world in the new LoZ game. Almost every LoZ game had 2 worlds that the link goes between. Whether that be a different time, or another realm. I've got a few theories, but I was thinking that it would be the type of thing you would want to discuss.

I wondered where Demise got the power to curse Zelda's and Link"s ancestors for all eternity but then it hit me. Demise is a god. An evil god. The father of all monsters in Hyrule's world. That is how he mortally wounded the goddess. I bet only a god could kill another god.

There is a prequel manga, which states that there was a dragon and a man with a flute which he played a song to make the dragon sleep, then he cut the dragon'z skin off killin it and made a mask out of it, the dragon'z soul is more like inside Majora's Mask and wants revenge for bein killed !

The masks they wore in Venice for Carnivale had little to do with malevolent acts and more to do with adultry/promiscuity and getting around the Papacy during the height of the Venetian Republic. Pretty sure Majora’s mask wasn’t sleeping around with people.

They should make a game where demise himself is reborn and kills goddess hylia, then his legions clash with hyrules forces, but they races cant be saved by hylia, because, shes dead.

Though the Manga isn't canon, if you read the Majora's Mask manga, you'll find a bonus volume where we learn the real-true origins of the mask. That instead of what the game said, it was created from the bones and hide of a beast that was holding the land in time. The beast danced for three days and nights by a mysterious traveler that resembles the Fierce Diety. Before it died and was locked away in a mask.

I still think that Majora's Mask is the Terminian counterpart of the Fused Shadow, created by the Terminian counterparts of the Twili. Perhaps the Terminian Twili were never banished, hell, maybe they became the Garo?

Termina was created by Majora after being found by the Skull Kid (hence it's an alternative Hyrule). After Majora's death, Termina ceased to exist.

I think all the main enemies are all Demise in some way shape or form. Either as an alternate version of him of a parallel world (Yuga) or an actual reincarnation (Malladus). The only villain that is not a form of Demise is Vaati. Why? Well if you play Four Swords Adventures you see Vaati is in cahoots with Ganon as his lackey. My guess is that since Minish Cap took place after Skyward Sword that Demise was not fully reborn yet so his minion was reborn and decided to reshape the world in Demise's stead so when the world was devastated by Vaati he would welcome Demise's rebirth as Ganon with an already conquered world they could rule together. Vaati was Ghirahim.

Ghirahim never actually died, though, just turned into a sword. He could still be out there somewhere, plotting to reenact his plan from skyward sword... This is how many people think that would make a great BoTW sequel. | V

the problem with the theory of it being from ikana is that majora's mask is not from termina. the mask salesman obtained it prior to arriving in Clocktown. and then lost it to skullkid who stole it from him while he was resting in the woods. and the fact that you point out in this video that majora's mask was "banished into the shadows" keyword SHADOWS should already tell you it was the twili who created it. but they didn't fear their instrument that they created it was hyrule that feared it and ordered that it be sealed away. therefore if this was a matter involving the royal family the only servants who would posses prior knowledge of it are the sheikah and lets not forget the masksalesman also possessed the Mask of Truth which has the sheikah tribe's symbol on it. the happy masksalesman was most likely a sheikah who went rogue after he removed the mask from its sealed area. he even tells you he knew it was possessed of evil but wanted it for his collection, also remember the fused shadows turned ordinary creatures and a goron into monsters, majora's mask had the same effect only instead of turning its wielder into a monster it whispered silently into their ear driving them mad in the process.

Majora also said "Good guys against bad guys" because it said "Bad guys run", meaning that Link must run to stay alive and don't battle Majora
