Oh god. I recognize that clip at the start. That's the Depths under Tingle Island. That was actually the exact spot I found my first Gloom Spawn. It was first day playing and I absolutely was not prepared. It was so goddamned terrifying.

Ive experineced Gloom hands before this moment so when i was going through those islands depths i was like "somethings gotta give,right?" And just anticipated something happening. I actually hugged the wall and ran around the treasure chest seeing id anything would happened.

My first encounter was at the beach, I ran away but it is so fast! The first few hours into this game were magical ✨

That first clip. When I made it to that chest, I knew it was too easy. Wide enough for Gloom Hands to spawn, and the walls were slanted enough that it could chase you down if you ran. The entire location was sus.

The harvest of TOTK was bountiful today. So many bad ass builds! It would take me a month to figure out the Q link and DNA helix shield around the hoverbike! And the gimbal flyer before it is amazing! And the Battle Dragonfly at the end is inspired!!

Bro, when I was getting to that chest the first thing I said to myself was "There's a Gloom Spawn here" I love how this game makes you cautious of exploring new areas, in case one of those things pops up

You can always fast travel away, though when I first discovered them on the castle South of Tarreytown - running from Gloom Hands, then there's a Gleeok? Noped out & parachuted off the cliff.

Yeah I first encountered Gloom Hands in the second cave I ever explored. I was too scared to enter chasms for a while because I figured they were full of Gloom Hands.

2:45 This is the first build I finally made other than the typical hoverbike! When TOTK came out, I was all for a website to tell us how to build things, on Reddit subs to know more builds, but never built any...just too lazy I guess. Yet my son asked me to build a plane, I saw this, and did it!

The crazy things people build in this game! The fanciest thing I ever did was stick big wheel to a hovering platform. Then stick a hydrant on the wheel to make a floating rotating sprinkler for my garden.

That first part happened to me too. It makes me wonder if the Gloom Hands aren't so much random as there are certain spawn points for them.

Can confirm, there are certain spawn points where they show. Been marking them on my map and sometimes go back so I can snag their Bow. I know Lynel Bows have a higher DPS, but the Demon King Bow is just satisfying. And is not a Lightning magnet.

I like how stuck in the past I am with my builds, I just discover that a car with an axis works with 2 wheels, and the community discovers how to build an all terrain robot that is made with quantum linking,

My builds are basically stone age in design compared to what some of these other people are making. People are making all these fancy things, and I'm lucky to make a vehicle that even moves properly lol. So far my best build is probably a flying machine with the fans and steering stick attached to a bow, either that or the vehicle I made that kinda looks like an old school hot rod.

I blame Nintendo for this. Because the most Zonai Parts despawn after a time or despawns completly if it get out your range or If you fall into the Depth or going into a shrine, you think twice to use many expensive parts for your build. If you could call back your build an respawn it anytime like your Zonai Robot Sage, you would take your time designing your build. At least you should be allowed to recycle the parts in your builds if you are forced to abonden it.

Nearly any machine with Light Weight rails are indestructible. The only thing wrong with that is that it shortens the lifespan of anything you attach to it for every hit you take. This means that you can actually shorten the lifespan of fans to be so small that you'll start to see their timer activate, and they'll pop on you when you least expect it.

The bird box has me thinking, what happens if you try to use rewind on the box the bird is carrying? Does it force the bird backwards? Does it rip the box clean through the bird? I feel as though there is science that needs done.

KnightCaper was doing 800 damage with each weapon thrown based on all the factors 3x power up, gibdo bone with bone proficiency armor, being low durability causing 2x damage and it being on it's final hit for another 2x damage stacked onto that so yeah that all adds up to 800 damage

I gotta say, the build of the day feels like a must have. Sure, efficiencywise the hover bike is cheaper with 9 zonaite vs. 33 and with 2 less fans it has lower battery consumption. However the VTOL aircraft can actually go backwards which is a disadvantage of the hoverbike. Not sure how the plane handles once weapons are installed but if it can manage the extra weight the ability to reverse is a huge deal when doing a bombing strafe

I once saw all four at once, but it was before I got the camera mode on the Purah Pad. All but the Light Dragon despawned fairly quickly.

While I did not update to tha latest version and cannot elucidate you on that, I can say that you can't remove the railings with stabilizers if you don't detach the fans first. Have you detached the fans?

Sometimes there spawn behavoir seems bugged. Two times I had gloom hands showing up and going away again and never coming back until the next blood moon. Be happy that they didn't show up.

I remember encountering them at Mekar Island at one point then they just disappeared. Not like they despawned and left dark clumps, I mean they actually disappeared as I went back one time and they never showed up. Not even a mob of Stal enemies showed up either, just an electric Wizzrobe. Maybe it has something to do with defeating both them and Phantom Ganon inside the Deku tree…

Yes. Converting rotational movement to directional movement is very easy to figure out, and I've seen it done much better than this.
