Definitely agree with you guys about the three areas not being connected. Although one thing I really appreciate from this game is the temples' designs, absolutely love the temples in this game.

There is a glitch I tried in Skyward Sword it's in water temple there is a door and you go up the wall and there is a rope to skip most of the temple
