Zelenskyy hails security agreement with U.S.

17 күн бұрынG7 leaders on Thursday agreed to lend Ukraine $50 billion this year - backed by profits from frozen Russian assets - to help the country's war effort and rebuilding.
Ukrainian Pres. Zelenskyy hailed the agreement with the U.S., calling it the "strongest agreement" between the two countries since Ukraine's independence.
"This is an agreement on steps to guarantee sustainable peace," Zelenskyy said at a joint press conference in Italy during the G7 conference. "It benefits everyone in the world because the Russian war against Ukraine is a real, real global threat."

“Other countries contribute to Ukraine too not just the US” lol the US contributes more than everyone else COMBINED militarily. It’s contribution as a whole that makes a difference not contribution per GDP. I could send 20% of my earnings to Ukraine. Would that then make me the biggest contributor?

Conversely, any money given as loans will be repaid in actual dollars to our treasury. BTW, the national debt that you probably worry greatly about will never be repaid, so relax!
