After seeing my video on the cheapest air jack you can buy, Zendex offered to send me one. Which I used then opened up.
It was so good I ordered another and paid for it with my own money.
They are available in the UK from Serenco.co.uk.
and Amazon - Rakjak 3 bag - amzn.to/2EmdX5K
Rakjak 2 bag - amzn.to/2T5TSL3

Lol right @700 each u could buy a cheap lift for 2k 4 of these would be 2800 now if u were only using 1…… well unless u wipe your ass with money $700 for a jack? If u can’t take 1 min of turning a bar to jack up your wheel u should give up’ not even logical’ it’s cool maybe for $100

Hockey pucks are great for adding to the saddle of the jack. Makes for a non marking/non slip lift.

Great video which confirms that I don't want one. I thought that they would be lighter than dragging a trolley jack on my gravel drive when working outside. I own a 3 ton Herkules air lift which is compact and very smooth in operation unlike you demo units. Thankyou

Hi from Oamaru New Zealand. On most jacks other that Railroad jacks when jack is too lowI prefer to jam a 5 x 5 or 6 x 6 block of wood between jack and chassis or load. On air jacks I like them to max at 70% of their max hieght limit. Can u confirm if these use Firestone or Goodyear bags?. Yeah the Chinese use a sintered bronze filter which are available from pneumatic industrial air equipment supply stores.

Here's an idea, would that 3 bag air jack have enough lift to raise your vehicle service ramps ramps to the level position in one go, that would save a lot of time & effort; good review by the way.

There is a reason I didn't use it at the time. I can't remember exactly, but I think it was height related. But you've inspired me enough to go and look at it again and see if I can make it work. :)

There’s really no justification to spend $900 on the RakJak compared to the $150-200 dollar price tag of the Vevor air Jack, the cheaper Vevor works just as good. Great video, I’m definitely getting the cheaper (Vevor) version, a little sanding and polishing on the centre tube (and grease) would reduce friction and make the up & down motion much smoother, problem solved.

I really don't like the fact that you have to get some of your body parts under or too close to the vehicle in order to operate it. Nuh-uh. I get that the truck has high ground clearance, but if it slams down, it could compress the suspension enough to give you a good smack. Plus if one of those bags ever blew out, the shrapnel could be nasty. All of that probably not the most likely scenarios, but it only takes one time. It would be safer with a remote valve to operate?
@DavidMcLuckie
@DavidMcLuckie 5 жыл бұрын
And that's why they make them with an extension handle as an option. :) But most of the time for me they'll be on the ramps and I'll be standing next to whatever I'm lifting.

@@DavidMcLuckie Good to know. I can see how using one of these with a long handle on a larger vehicle like a truck would be easier than a traditional hydraulic shop jack, where sometimes you don't have much swing to pump it up.

Depending on the weight of what you are lifting, but for maximum lift you'll need around a 100 psi.

how much pressure you need to inflate that jack? and what compressor you use?
@DavidMcLuckie
@DavidMcLuckie 5 жыл бұрын
Pressure required depends on weight of vehicle. I could lift a smart car as soon as the compressor started with no real pressure, but for something heavy it would take the full pressure of the compressor, which is my case is 120-150 psi.
@Incountry
@Incountry 5 жыл бұрын
Peter Go It’s the CFM what pushes it no the PSi, more capacity your compressor in the CFM department the better things work, larger ID 3/8” airlines and fittings you’ll need to really run 3/8” BSP not your standard 1/4” BSP fittings .. The longer the hoses more PSI at the compressor nozzle you’ll need, I run 160psi so the gun gets around 155psi but when in use it’ll drop to 90-100 psi which is within tolerances and specifications, most run 90psi at the nozzle and gun will receive 80-/+ 5psi then in use you’ll automatically lose around 40psi...
@ericbrunius7173
@ericbrunius7173 4 жыл бұрын
5five6 I think you’re a little confused. You can lose pressure by line loss if you have a small line with a large volume tool, but this jack is an air receiver that will ultimately equalize with the air receiver on your compressor. If you have a smaller long line from your compressor and need the pressure to be more stable, you can tee a tank (I’ve used a propane bottle) near where you’re using the tool, it’ll act as an accumulator.
