I want to thank you very much for this video. It seems that more than a few people have the problem I was having, can't get through setup wizard because of a feature called Talkback. I contacted Asus tech. Support through email, they told me to do a Wipdisk. But gave no derecyions on where to find a procedue. I found several links to a procedure. I found it confusing Then I saw your video, Thank you very much, stepping through you video and performing the steps, pausing if I had to. Within 5 minutes I was done.

Thanks for all the help. I will never buy such a cheap mobile phone again. Had to return it once during warranty (was not working) then went total loss just after the warranty expired. Lesson learned.

By the way, do you have the solution for the following problem: every time that I answer a call with my ZenPhone 2, the screen gets locked, even during the call, and I neither can finish the call by pressing the red phone icon nor use any other phone features during the call or after the call, the phone gets completely locked, It just unlock if I press the power button.

Hi please if you tell me what to do? When I follow your instructions all it does is go to a usb insignia on black screen with no menu screen before shutting down. When I try hard resetting through settings it comes to the same and then boots back to the original information on the phone??

When I'm in recovery mode, the only options are reboot system now, apply update from abd, and apply update from microSD. This is the ze500cl_EU_US, I just bought it off a couple at a yard sale.

This guide doesn't work, once the device is at erasing when you select it from Android, you can't get into the menu to select the options to wipe the device. Please stop making erroneous videos, and simply direct people to XDA developers for help.
