Zenitsu has always had really impressive abilities in Demon Slayer Season 1 and 2 of the anime, with his scenes constantly going viral due to their amazing animation, but when his Thunder Breathing 7th Form gets animated, it’s all over. Thunder Breathing is a Breathing Style also known as Breath of Thunder that has 6 forms, with Zenitsu’s brother Kaigaku who became Upper Moon 6 as Gyutaro and Daki's replacement, learning every single one! Zenitsu himself was only ever able to learn the Thunder Breathing First Form Thunderclap and Flash, so instead of continuing and failing to learn the others, Zenitsu polishes his first form and even extends it by creating the Sixfold and Eightfold variants, which both lead him into the final version of the technique, Godspeed. Even Godspeed isn’t enough to face an Upper Moon Demon who ALSO knows Thunder Breathing though, so to get his revenge for Gramps, Zenitsu's Master, Zenitsu develops the 7th form, Flaming Thunder God, which is similar to Thunderclap and Flash, however the speed is on an entirely different level, as Zenitsu slashes you with a Dragon at impossible to follow speed, and leaving anything the dragon touched to be engulfed in static flames, which might be inspired by Tanjiro's Solar Halo Dragon Dance he used in Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 5 which we did a reaction

Kaigaku knows all 6 forms but can't perform the 1st form. Which is ironic because the 1st form is crucial to master the other 5 forms.

No he didn't lol, how did he make The Flaming Thunder God technique when he didn't even know Tanjiro OR Rengoku, now to mention the fact he was literally the weakest Demon Slayer at that point, and sure you don't have to be strong to make a new form/extension of a Breathing technique, but do you really think Zenitsu knew how to use Flame/or Sun Breathing before he ever met either Tanjiro or Rengoku?

He most likely made the basics of the Technique, but that's not what Yorichi said, he said "he made that form so that one day he can use it when he's fighting alongside Kaigaku." their phrasing of it made it sound like they were implying that Zenitsu made a new form of Thunder by infusing it with Flame or Sun Breathing, before he met even Tanjiro.

Remember, Kaigaku may not have "mastered" his demon arts yet but he still has mastered the 2nd-6th form of thunder breathing. He even qualifies as a thunder hashira candidate. He is literally build for speed. And has an upper moon stats. But even he can't see Zenitsu's 7th form. A move that Zenitsu hasn't mastered yet. And used without a demon slayer mark.

@@c.eanimationworld6742That doesnt make sense, the reason is because demons grow faster than humans, it took mere months for Rui to reach the lower moon and was easily the 2nd strongest Lower Moon, Give kaigaku a year and some mastery and Zenitsu is losing really hard. You have to remember Demon slayers who become hashiras are more resillient to Muzans blood which is why they need a large dose to becomr demons, he became an upper moon faster than most demons.

Every breathing style was inspired by Sun breathing, the ones closer being stronger (the two closest ones are flame and water and it's said that there's at least one hashira using water or flame each generation of hashiras). So Zenistu's going back to it's roots without knowing, making it an op breathing.

Not really , if yu check the wiki , waltz is an original form from hinokami kagura , also , keep in mind that any resemblance that any breathing styles have with hinokami kagura is because it was the original breathing

@@olakpasa6486the forms derive from sun breathing not hinokami kagura, there is a difference between the 2 breathings. Sun breathing is obviously the first breathing and the strongest but hinokami kagura was like sun breathing but was passed down as a dance and was changed throughout the generations so it’s alittle weaker. Tanjiro tried his best to perfect it and copy yorrichis forms but it wasnt the same.

I really love this contrast between kaigaku x Zenitsu. 1st form is considered to be the main form and all the other forms were derived from it. Zenitsu mastering it and extending it is equivalent to him having skill comparable to the first thunder breath user only with a different specialization. He remade it in his own style which is just a new level of badassary 😤

I think it was for some characters tho. Like tengen who strikes so fast that the sound and effects are real and zenitsu who is so fast it generates static electricity. Not sure if there are others but i know for sure these 2 have some moves where the extra effect are real. But not the dragon

One of the main reasons why zenitsu is not serious about his work till now in the anime has been stated by him during spider fight where he tells that no one had hopes from him , everybody betrayed him in past because of which he became hopeless but his master jigoro was the one who took him in and he was like a father to him . Zenitsu got the love and support and sense of a family from him . Losing such a person just shook him to his core and he got real pissed this time.

I always Imagine that Zenitsu will develop an ultimate ability in which can only be pulled when he's strucked by a lightning, I called it "Raijin's domain". He'll emmit an electricity so strong like a plasma that everyone in the vicinity will either pass-out or inflicted neural dysfunction which makes even a slight movement would be very hard to do, then as he slash (like the 1st move) he'll produce a railgun-like force to the target like a positive and negative magnets so not only the demon will struggle to move or even keep himself conscious, he'll be pulled like a magnet into zenitsu's railgun-like blade.

The breathing effects are only visual/imagined so it doesn't actually make electricity/flames/water it only strengthens the mussels

Zenitdu doesn’t actually crate electricity. The only special abilities and magic are the Blood Demon Arts. Breathing techniques just are illustrated to represent how the movement looks and what it’s based off of

@@SuperPigApple yeah, that's why I said that he can only pull this off is when being strucked by a lightning similar to when he's strucked by a lightning and make his hair yellow. This skill will only happen for 3 seconds(very fast) he's gonna channel the lightning throughout the vicinity acting as a conductor (much like an exposed live-electric wire dipped in water), the electricity flowing throughout his body will make his senses x5 faster than what he's capable off (like continously being shocked by defibrillator for 3 seconds) edit: I called it Raijin's Domain (ThunderGod's Domain) cuz it's a 3-seconds taste of what it's being like to have thunder god's power vested in you and it's a power that is both devastating to enemies and your body.

The author said none of it is real but Tanjiro could hear Zenitsu’s lightning and thunder in the second arc and nothing in the series shows that it’s fake so we just ignore the author

Fun fact: If we go realistic and ignore the VFX on the breathing styles, Zenitsu is the one that actually moves Supersonic or maybe even light speed and people nearby will hear "Thunder" sound due to zenitsu breaking the sound barrier.
