More details - globecore.com. Zeolite Drying and its role in industrial oil dehydration is crucial, as zeolites, whether synthetic or natural, are excellent water absorbers. Nonetheless, saturated zeolites retain not only water but also oil residues, posing an environmental threat if improperly handled. This video explores the right preparation of zeolite for industrial oil dehydration and its post-use treatment.
Natural zeolite preparation starts with grinding, followed by drying and dispersion. Because zeolite absorbs water during storage and use, its preparation involves removing water from its pores. GlobeCore's zeolite preparation technology, implemented in the SSC type drying oven, is a perfect example of efficient zeolite drying.
Once the zeolite cools post-drying, it is ready for use in industrial oil dehydration. The same technology is applicable for silica gels, motor windings, small transformers, and electrodes.
Restoring zeolite's absorption properties after water saturation is a challenge due to the presence of oil residues with a lower flashpoint. Hence, we use a three-stage process in our BRPS plant, involving removal of explosive residues, moisture elimination, and vacuumization.
This process ensures complete and safe zeolite regeneration, rendering it ready for reuse, eliminating disposal needs. The compact, wheeled BRPS plant makes this process versatile and time-efficient, allowing multiple zeolite regenerations without mechanical impacts.
