The truth of the matter is 90% of Zimbabweans in S.A are either planing to go back home, already establishing something or they are in the process of going to a second country, some European countries have opened their hands for them. Drivers, nurses, care givers, warehouse workers, cruise ship workers. They are leaving in large numbers. The only reason some are still around is because they are still looking for that opportunity. But it was clear that ZEP doesn't lead to PR no matter how many years you have stayed in SA. Why bend the rules when it suits you. Why should PR be issues to domestic workers and drivers and former fraudster. Remember most ZEP holders are former fraudsters

Unfortunately SA doesn't have such policy. Does Zimbabwe have such policy? ** Remember only Zimbabweans where given "EP" status, there are more countries and their expiration dates are coming.

@@noreenm5018 Yes, SA already has such a law in place, along with Zim, the UK and the US. Its the naturalisation policy whereby foreigners can become citizens if they have stayed a certain number of years in the country. In Zimbabwe you need only 10 years. In America its 5yrs and 3yrs if you marry/get married to a US citizen. In the UK, it might be 5yrs, i stand to be corrected but I know there are many Zimbabweans and even South Africans who are now British citizen. I pray you dont respond to argue but rather do research. Actually if a foreigner is from the commonwealth, they only need to have stayed only 2 years to get British citizenship. Africa we are fueled by hatred hence the reason why most people have no idea that people can become citizens by naturalisation or by birth in some countries. We make it hard for each other. Kudos to Namibia for putting visas for European countries but removed for SADC.

One thing people must know is, SA is not an Ireland that lives on its own it's a country in an African countries and it's an African country just like other African countries, it will never survive on its own. It needs other countries as well.
