not trying to hate but do we really want the game to be dragged out for a whole decade+ again. i hope this is a more normal length game cycle. but i know i’m absolutely dreaming and that won’t be the case, gta 7 will be out by like 2040.

@@ThePakisoulja786 GTA 5 is still my favorite game even after a decade which says a lot about how much work went into making this game. I can't think of another game that I still play regularly after that long. Normal game lifecycles don't apply to GTA because they're so good they're timeless, I can still play GTA SA and have a great time.

@@ThePakisoulja786If you want a game to be good, and i’m talking GTA level good, then you need to stop expecting games to be pumped out every 4-5 years. GTA 5 was one of the most fleshed out experiences ever made with the amount of content it received over the years. It’s also not the only IP Rockstar has, and we’ll likely get another Red Dead before we see another entry in the GTA series. It sucks waiting a large fraction of your life for a game (take it from me, I was 11 when 5 came out) but if we want the game to be as large of an impact as 5 was, then we need to be patient.

As a Miami resident this is absolutely insane. the way I can just recognize streets, buildings and areas from half second shots makes me so excited. like the dirt bike scene in Overtown/ little Haiti. Its absolutely surreal

Honestly I'm kind of glad it's releasing in 2025. I've had enough of companies releasing broken games and then fixing them after release. Hopefully with another 2 years we'll receive a masterpiece.

they might be close to finishing it but probably giving them selves more room to patch the game up before releasing. Rockstar has not fumbled any of their mainline releases with shitty launches.

Its so crazy that other people also have a special place in their heart for GTA. It was the very first game my dad let me play with him and alone when i was 10 years old. Now im 20 and feel like i am 10 again. Josh's reaction is all of us right now, this trailer gives me goosebumps

Take Two said they expect a big Fiscal Year 2025. Their 2025 Fiscal Year is March 31st 2024 to March 31st 2025, so perhaps we'll get it early 2025. Rockstar always attempts to release things in a Q1 but then they get delayed.

Ngl it actually looks really, really good. GTA is one of the best games when it comes to content and it definitely looks like Rockstar have something for anything. The cars look fantastic, which I think is a big thing because an underrated part of GTA games since Vice City and San Andreas have been the cars. Biggest thing is that they didn’t change much, just added stuff onto the masterpiece that was GTA 5.

They always do it man the GTA V trailer cam out 2 years before the game did so makes sense to me man. Red dead 2 trailer was 1 year before the release of that and the second trailer for it wasn’t released until 1 month before release. So the second gta vi trailer will come out 1 month before release.

remember gta6 is based in Miami. 2 movies were filmed in miami. Bad Boys 2 and 2 Fast 2 Furious so there will be alot of references to those movies. I think trailer 2 will focus more on us "Car guys". As trailer 1 was just intro to the story.

It is probably finished. They did the same with GTA 5 and RDR2. Released the trailer 2 years earlier and ironed it out. Maybe add a few new small features here and there depending on feedback. But the story has probably been written for years now.
