In this video, we featured the ultimate Singapore Satay Eating Record challenge! In this epic food challenge, we're joined by the legendary Randy Santel as we attempt to devour close to 500 satay sticks at the famous Lau Pa Sat hawker center in Singapore.
Watch as we take on the clock and each other in an intense battle of speed and stomach capacity. Can we beat the previous record and consume a mind-boggling number of satay sticks? You'll have to watch to find out!

Because its hot.... Should do it indoors where there is cold air conditioning. But Lau Pa Sat does not have air conditioning. Seems like all satay spots are al fresco.

I'm a kiwi that grew up in Neesoon in the 80s and would eat at the makan stalls at Chongpang. We would order 100 sticks each then go back for more! Satay I'd my favorite food still and got the secret recipe from Nur Satay in Ulu Klang/Naan corner back in 2003. I remember getting a local Ampang Satay stall to set up at my brother's 21st birthday and he cooked 1000 sticks for us. We also ordered 1000 sticks between 3 of us in Ampang one night over a couple of beers.. great memories!

@@kingstonshawn2595 serious asf! Lol. I was 6yrs old when I first used to get 100 sticks but back in the early 80s, Satay wasn't as big as it is these days, but still was a big meal having all that. The 300 sticks each was when I was late teens so was nothing to eat 300 sticks along with a Chinese meal at restoran beng kee and a doz big bottles of tiger. Lol. What can I say, we were growing kiwi boys.. bahaha

@@kingstonshawn2595 satay was only probably about 60mm long of meat and 10 cents a stick but I find these days stalls are making it bigger and bigger to be the biggest and best so it was probably about 2/3 of what they are eating here. Don't get me wrong, now that I'm not a growing kiwi lad and am almost 50, I can only eat 15 to 20 sticks. Lol.
