☆ you’d think this video would be counter intuitive given the fact that i sell handmade paper kits. but i think the craft of papermaking is just too fun not to share to more people. welcome to another craft vlog where i experiment with new methods of papermaking alternatives. in this video i tried the plastic bottle method and i was able to experiment with using plastic container lids as the frame. spoiler alert: the former was a bust but the latter was phenomenally life changing and i will be experimenting with it some more in future videos.

Good to know. I plan on trying to make paper this summer. I saved my scraps that I have been saving from my hubby who thought they were for the recycle bin. 😮

My husband surprised me and bought a paper shredder today. And we priced blenders too. So that will be next to buy. I have it planned to go buy different size frames to make my own, but not sure which size mesh to buy to put on the frames. But anyways, I loved the way that paper looked that you let dry in the lid! My eyes got big and so did my smile when I seen the smooth side! I am more excited now to see that I don't have to wait for my blender to start recycling all the paper I have been keeping to get started on this. Thank you so much! 😊

Thanks for all the effort you put into your paper making and videos. Beautiful results with even the basic tools. Please share some ideas on how you use your handmade papers.

if your not in a rush for your paper pulp try. soaking your paper in jars for a few days then empty in a sieve and rinse under running water while braking up with your hands a bit. put back in the jar with clean water. keep doing this until you reach the pulp you are looking for.
