I've own a 50' Zero G for 2yrs it still works as new. Brass or aluminum connectors both work neither hold up to abuse. I would buy again.

Those are my favorite hoses! And I also keep the 25 footer in our Sprinter van because they are drinking water safe.

I can tell you from first hand experience the pros and cons of this hose: Pros-lightweight, easy to roll up and move around. Cons-they do kink A LOT just as much as any other hose AND they do leak at the fittings. I've had to return one because of leaks.

I must have purchased three of the best Zero G hoses Lowe’s has ever sold,I purchased them about five years ago,zero problems.They are easy to kink,but that’s not a big problem for me.

Man I had to run out to my garage and check, but I have one of those things and I have had really good luck with mine too. I like mine so much I put it in my cabinet in the garage. No matter how thick and awesome standard hoses are to start with, they wind up being a kinked fragile peice of garbage. Maybe storing in the cabinet has helped it survive longer than the hanger hoses?? Shoot yeah I'm going to buy some more of these.

You're seriously misinformed if you think an aluminum coupling is the gold standard. It's actually the cheapest fitting. Brass is by far a better coupling.

they do crimp when the pressure is less . like if a 1/4HP utility pump is in use. and what we are all going to learn besides this is how well they hold up to sunlight. like whether they stiffen up with age. another test is dragging the hose across bare wet dirt. and see how much is picked up as a surface muddy coating

This is the worst hose that kinks constantly. I never thought I would spend the time to come online and rant about a hose, but it's that bad.

What's the inner diameter without a spray nozzle? Does it only go up to 3/4" while under a lot of pressure? I ask because most of these inflatable hoses expand and are only the full diameter while under a lot of pressure, but when you remove the spray nozzle or place a high volume spray nozzle such as a DRAMM 400 then the hose shrinks and you get about half the water volume. That's why I like professional 3/4 rubber hoses.

Looks like a great hose. That type being light in weight could be used by my nine year old daughter to help in this falls planting of our fall crops in our raised beds. She mapped out our spring seeding on paper for a record as we seeded and I want her to do the same this fall. That is what I am looking forward to this fall. Great family activities. This hose was great at the beginning. The it started to leak and today the male end fell off. There is no way to repair it.

Either you are one of the best product peddlers on the planet, or that is the best hose on the planet. I am thinking both may be true. Either way, I'm ordering a couple of those hoses.

The first one I bought failed the first time as the hose came out of the fitting. Lowes refunded my money and I have purchased a second one. I have used it once so far and no problem.

I bought 2 of these from lowes and they both ripped at the part that goes to the water nozzle.

Can this be used with a power washer?

DO NOT confuse this hose with the As Seen On TV expanding pocket hose. Granted the pocket hose is more compact but it will fail if used on a regular basis in less than a year, Guaranteed! If you only want an extremely compact, lightweight hose for occasional use it works great. This hose is far superior for a little more money. The superiority can be felt just by the weight of it and how it feels in the hand when limp. I've been using two of them on my RV for two years with and without being constantly pressurized. They've sat in the sun, been dragged over sand burrs, dirt, concrete, grass etc and the only thing leaking are the quick disconnects fittings I put on each end. It's a GREAT hose hands down! As for kinking ANY tube will "kink" if bent far enough. Kinking is only an issue if it doesn't un-kink easily or makes using the product a PITA. For example, when coiling it up or bending it around a corner the flow stops. The other most unusual thing is that it doesn't seem to get "Twists" in it when coiling. If it's not under pressure it's impossible to twist because it's simply to limp. What's really weird is when it IS under pressure, it's still very reluctant to get twists in it when coiling on to a hose rack or on the ground. Bought one at Lowe's. Failed within a week. Hose came apart at the female end. Took it back for a refund.

Be very careful with that hose, I left mine for 15 minutes under the sun (it wasn’t very hot, around 80 degrees F)partially under pressure by slightly opening the nozzle when watering my tree plant slowly, I was shocked when I came back, it was bursting with water.

I bought this hose and it likes to get kinky. Oh, well, so far, no leaks. I have had it for about two weeks.

The most helpful thing you can do is give us an update to tell us how the hoses are doing after 3 seasons. Please provide an honest update. Perhaps they were great to start but didn't hold up? That would be more helpful to know than your initial "it's great right out of the box" impression.

Aqua Joe 50' Expandable Lightweight Kink-Free Hose on QVC looks like a far better option Aluminum fittings are crap and are the dud standard in the hose industry. They corrode from minerals in the water unless you remove them often. Even the anodized aluminum will corrode in a short time. Aluminum is not a nice fitting. Try removing it with vice grips once seized. They disintegrate. Water flow through most "inflatable" hoses is noticeably lower so unless you're trying to take longer to water your landscape or clean with your hose plan on it taking longer.

I've had mine for two years now, I think there is a problem with the aluminum male to female connections, tried two washers, bit of teflon pipe thread under female & still leaking, seems worse now, so what ever the failure is getting worse. Sorry to disappoint folks.

I have 2 zero g hoses. BEWARE!!! THEY LEAK AT THE FITTINGS AFTER A FEW MONTHS OF REGULAR USE. Otherwise, this vid is an accurate review. BUT YOU WILL NOT LIKE A 5/8 INCH HOSE PRESSURE IF YOU ARE ACCUSTOMED TO USING 3/4 INCH.

I purchased Two zero-G s and hooked them up to a brass hose bib in my boat house. Months later I tried to unscrew the sprayer and it welded together. all four connectors were stuck together and can not separate, called the company and they told me if I had a older house I would have to unscrew the hose connectors three or four times a year or it will weld together. One was so bad I had to hire a plumber to turn off the water supply and cut the hose and replace the faucet. a little over 100$. The company told me if I cut the four ends off the hose and sent them to them they would give me a credit card credit. I think they need to do a better job letting customers know about there defect and I will NEVER own one of there fucked up system again!

I contacted Zero-G. They said the inner lining is made of PVC. Every lab test on PVC hoses show an unacceptable leaching of about a half dozen different types of toxic chemicals. My advice is to get a polyethylene or natural rubber hose.

sorry guys....I got this same hose from Lowes. After having hose for about one year the end popped off. Disappointed again. Im tired now. Tired of trying different hoses. Just have to goback to the old school hose

Bought one today at Lowe's 6/26/2019 Turned on the water and it was leaking at the nozzle end. You can actually see where the fitting was installed crooked at the place of manufacture. I am taking it back and not going to get a replacement because of this and the aluminum fittings are garbage Why did they not use brass fittings? I can answer that........cheap product.

Just had to cut $200 worth of these hoses off to throw them away. The aluminum fitting corrodes to the brass spigot and is virtually impossible to remove. Only but hoses with BRASS fittings. Aluminum sucks.

The so-called Gold Standard for water hose connectors is BRASS and not cheap ass Aluminum.

Try a long term test after winter. This hose kings like crazy almost impossible to use unless you straighten the entire hose out before use. Do not buy! Other than the kinks I have not other issues. The reason I bought the hose was because it advertised kink free! Not true after one season very annoying

I hate the Zero-G hose. It's such a pain in the butt to use. Forever twisting. Routinely kinks. Snags and catches on EVERYTHING. Way too much trouble to use.

Terrible hoses.. as I am sure you have found out by now. Try the FITT brand hose .. carried at Home Depot if you want a foldable hose

I can't believe you are sitting there stating that the G-Force doesn't kink up. Let me tell you, you are dead wrong. I spend more time uncramping than I do watering my plants. How much are you being paid to promote this product. I bought the hose because an employee at the Ace Hardware stores said he had two and they worked great. Additionally I bought the hose because it is lightweight and I have serious back issues and I thought it would help. It's made it worse because I have to keep bending over to unkink the hose. If you are going to have a blog, at least be honest.
