I would like to share about another trip Zero Point at Sonamarg (J&K) in the month of May 2018 in this video.
Zero Point is about 35kms from Sonamarg to wards Drass side cross Zojila Pass is second highest transport pass (altitude 11649 ft ) is said to be one of the most dangerous passes in the world.
The name is zero point : The temperature there averages to around 0 degree Celsius.
The highway connects Srinagar to Ladakh. The road was so narrow, with 15 - 20 feet high snow on both sides ,at a time only one vehicle could pass, with just two or three places to cross . So the traffic mostly goes in one sided direction at a time, alternatively.
Zero Point has so many tourist attraction like Sledding-( Old-fashioned wooden sled),Skiing, snowmobile, also known as a motor sled, motor sledge, or snowmachine, is a motorized vehicle designed for winter travel and recreation on snow. It is designed to be operated on snow and ice and does not require a road or trail but most are driven on open terrain or trails. Snowmobiling is a sport that many people have taken on as a serious hobby.
