To get around the light flickering problem you have to match your frame rate with the frequency of the lights you are in. You need to shoot at frame rates that are divisible by the number of light pulses. So, in a 60 Hz AC area, you’ll need to shoot at 30, 60 or 120 fps.

Something that might help with the flickering is changing the shutterspeed (but you probably already knew that. Another trick that might work is in your timeline copy the video track to the track above and move the copy one frame over, and set the copy's opacity to 50%. Hope it works

I was forced to check in my carry-on stuff with all of my diving gear and camera stuff... they told me to take the batteries out and put them in my pocket and called security and told me I would not fly if I did not comply.... this was leaving Antigua after having all of my bags emptied at security. Big surprise, I came home about $1,800 light in diving gear and camera stuff... that the airline refused to cover. Got to love some airlines/airports.

You know, I was so frustrated I never even thought about looking at the credit card that I used to book the flight. For the airline claim they wanted all of my original receipts and a bunch of different forms. I bought the dive gear years ago ( and didn't save the receipts even back then ), and it was incidental photography stuff that was taken. Thankfully I put my Mavic and main D300s in my Wife's purse since something felt super off. They of course claim it is due to the flight being full and no overhead space... I have pictures of two overheads being closed completely empty and others with tons of room.... it was 100% a scam, so if you are ever flying out of Antigua beware.

Jon, if you experience that flickering light situation I have a trick in the edit for you (Adobe Premiere)! - Put your clip with the flickering light in the timeline - Copy the clip and place it on top of the first one - Drag the top clip 1 frame to the right - Set your opacity blending mode to "screen" - Voila! The flickering should be gone or reduced to minimal! * Added bonus: Because you're layering with the opacity blend mode turned to screen, your shot will become lighter! So perfect for low light situations! Hope this helps! Let me know if you are going to use it! Grtz from the Netherlands!

If you find a good dim able LED light to go on a double Hot Shoe Extension Bar Mount Dual Bracket please do a review, I have a small manfrotto that works well but only has 3 settings and really needs a ball mount
