All it takes is one drop to go from Zero to Hero when you are on a fishing trip. Stick with what you know works and believe in yourself and what you are doing. Put in the time and effort and you will eventually reap the benefits. Delayed gratification is more satisfying than instant gratification in the long run! Have a fun and safe summer everyone!

Excellent fishing trip and great video. I have to say… you had me on pins and needles every time you tossed a fish in that cooler with the lid opening to the inside / cooler opening to the outside…wooooooo! Thought that big one was going to get away!

Is the port wall better than the bridge in the summer? I haven’t had much luck at the bridge for the last couple weeks just a few spadefish

I have good luck at both and many other places depending on the tide and weather. Just keep moving around until you find them. Everywhere can be hit or miss. Focus on fishing the solunar peak times as well, it has really changed my outlook on fishing.

Just found this channel, but I’m really enjoying it!! Thanks for sharing!! Quick question - I hear you guys talking about 1/0 and 2/0 hooks, and I’ve seen in your previous videos you’ve been trying out some different tackle. Do you mind sharing what you guys were using there?

I have seen Off Kilter using some Bottom Sweeper Jigs, Jawbreaker jigs (made local by 43-2 fishing out of New Bern), and his two drop egg sinker rig (which works awesome). I can’t remember the title of his video, but he has a video on making the rig and I think there is a video asking folks which hooks they use, which had good info in the video and in the comments.

You think 2/0 regular gamakatsu hook would be ok to use?

I know that people use those, it really depends on what pound test line you will be using. I use 4x strong hooks because I use 100 pound braid. Good Luck!
