Here is another installment of the Zero to High roller series, this time we take on the challenge with the ranger class. This series consists of me starting with absolutely nothing but my fists on a class, and taking it from 1 normal lobby extraction directly into a high roller the next game. A really fun and challenging run. Hope you guys enjoyed!

Just fyi the crate at 13:57 was taking less damage because you were making contact with it with the hilt of your sword. Where your weapon contacts the enemy or object effects the damage

its not taking less damage, the hilt can't break crates or barrels. Only the blade part of the arming sword.

Well im not 100% on the crate and barrel situation, but hitting towards the hilt does do less damage. Try it on a training dummy @@Tasy808

@@VDViktor the interaction time in this game is what makes it so exciting, it's like fps chess because if you get locked into a movement it may cost you to backtrack on the spot so it seems even good players get a little fighty flighty on occasion :D

Hey man, the reason the box wasn't breaking was because you were hitting it with the hilt of your sword. Some weapons damage may vary on where on the weapon they are struck from.

@@Awesomeness785play with friends and coordinate fights if out geared then don’t fight fair use traps mobs storm etc for best chances and you have a chance of killing a geared but the odds are still against you

@@Awesomeness785 honestly there's more to the game than just gear and once you think about that and how you can use anything to win fights you'll be better of. For example. Gathering a pack of mobs as wizard/rogue (or any class w invis pot) and dumping them on enemies in a close quarters area can get you a 1v3juicers

@@Rockdwaynejonnysonrogue has one of the lowest base strength values in the game, so you dont do much damage with your fists. Just use the default weapons instead.

I’m almost positive the blue pit guy at 7:55 was me XD I was potting because of the goblins and zone was chunking, pretty new to the game. Man’s with no gear was too fast for me

Now that they fixed the poison. Circling the centipede and being past the 180 degree cone infront / side of it seems consistant for dodging the poison shot. When I see the windup i try to be at the side and jump for that extra bit or momentum past its midline. Works pretty well.

Really good example of how you can get good gear if you just play your game patient. My buddy has been having some trouble and i showed him my stash which was filled to the brim with all blue and green items with great rolls. I got it all from a 3 hour game session where i ran cleric and just player hunted in the goblin caves. Its doable just very hard

with full abilities on a lvl 20 this is not hard..... your still more likely to kill a fully geared lvl1 than he is likely to kill you...

Ranger to ranger,for worm stand behind the pots in his corner, the poison won't break the pots and you can pewpew over the top or side no damage taken

So i watched another video and commented on the sus behaviour of other players in your lobby...now this.... Lol, in the last fight, cleric just decides to stare at you and do nothing...Then rogue just decides to merrily hop around while you punch his back and do nothing..... ULTRA SUS.

The Cleric was just trying to get out at the end, which is why he crouch spammed. He knew if he tried to open the portal and the Ranger wasn't friendly, he'd get shot while opening it. As for the Rogue... Rogue was trying to do rat Rogue things, he didn't want a direct fight which is why he was trying to run. He probably assumed the Ranger was more dangerous than he actually was, because there's no way to know until you get hit. If you actually think these guys were 'paid actors' considering the single take of the video and how many times he almost died, I don't want what you're smoking.

Seeing you play a eanger shrivelled my balls right up. Why would you switch to the rat side by playing Ranger or Rogue? Basic gear wizard got a massive boost in power. Staves have magic power now and your base kit staff has 5 magic power. In comparison a gray spellbook has 2 magic power.

@@Bobbytical Currently Rogue and Ranger are the most powerful classes. "wHy dOn'T YoU plAY iT?" is the most retarded reply you can give. The classes being the most powerful isn't what makes it a filthy rat class. It's their usual playstyle. During the PTs you simply don't engage Rangers lest you be kited; and Rogues could pop out from any angle and zero your HP in a matter of seconds. That hasn't changed. Which is why I call it the rat classes. When I'm walking around as wizard, fighter or barb the only concern is whether a Rogue just hit the Invis somewhere and is waiting like a little bitch. DaD will have seasons and if the devs are smart they'll introduce fresh numbers to the game. Class dynamic might/will change seasonally. Rogues or Rangers may drop off in power, but they will always be rat classes.
