The original version was like fighting through the conflict with bravery, but this is more like the after-peace of a conflict. But it doesn’t really matter to you anymore, because the sky is blue, the grass is greener, you have your new friends beside you, and most of all, a new you is here. You’ve learned a lot, you’ve gained more than you lost, and you know that the end is also a new beginning, so you keep going on. This would be amazing for the final episode of an anime. When the notification of this song came to my phone, I felt so sad. But this song made me smile again, at least for 5 minutes and 22 seconds. A/Z is my most favorite piece done by Sawano and this rendition just gave me a whole 180 degrees feels. I am now crying after watching this. This is like the peace we want to achieve after conflict. Hope we want especially we are now at the middle of pandemic.
