Zhou Dongyu all the way superb actress her acting one should always praise instead of nagging about looks and flat chest she is beautiful for me about her figure well this is her body type is one should praise the talent beauty comes and goes it's not permanent your talent and knowledge is permanent it's a lifelong lesson which stays with you If she wants she can easily go for plastic surgery but she is real Will always appreciate her hard work PS I. like her pair with Xu Kai who is also my favorite actor I don't want to interfere in their personal life bcoz I didn't know what kind of girl he wants but zhou dongyu is the cutest

Talent? Beautiful? Well I don't hate her. But where her talent is concerned....it's definitely over rated. Even light weight dramas like this her acting are bad.....think how she'll fare in dramas like Yanxi Palace as leading lady? She's no A list where acting skills are concerned and that's fact. It's a wonder how she managed to win those awards. She passable actress at best.

@@gracelee3735 the yanxi palace drama is actually copied/ remade by zhou dongyu movie the palace do check it out and then comment she's very good actress and her movie better days is opt for Oscar and I did watch her movies and the show Ancient love poetry and others TV shows too she's really fabulous actress

Ms. Zhou Dongyu is a beautiful, petite, talented, and gifted actress and artist. She looks absolutely stunning and gorgeous in her gown. “Ancient Love Poetry” is one of our favorite dramas. My family has enjoyed watching this drama numerous times. Ms. Zhou Dongyu’s portrayal in her roles were outstanding, excellent, and superb. The entire cast were excellent, superb, and brilliant in their performances. The director, cast, production, crew, and soundtrack were absolutely stellar. This drama is and will always be a true masterpiece classic. My family will always follow, support, and pray for “you.” 👏💫✨⭐️🌟😷🏆😊🤩💛👏

So during filming, zdy broke out, so xu Kai teases her by calling her dou dou (pimples). Then to get back at him, zdy called him fatty. 😂 They look awkward together off screen...but most important thing is that their chemistry was crazily good on screen.

She's a passable actress at best. Think with her acting skills she can carry off as Yanxi Palace or Ruyi's Love In The Palace or The Legends or even Arsenal Military Academy lead actress? Long way to go. Her acting is passable but she's no A list where real acting skills are concerned and that's FACT. Bai Lu, Wu Jinyan, Zhou Xun.....now these are truly great actresses of great talent AND acting skills that don't depend solely on youth's beauty.

@@claire6293 張嘉倪演多年的配角也不是沒原因的，她雖然漂亮，就出了名的沒演技，只一兩個表情貫通全劇（可參考「溫曖的弦」）戲份多一點點就被罵慘了。但習慣性很第三者的一起出現在男一女一的中間，可憐又可狠！

@@tutu813 I watched..... Xu Kai extremely careful not to show any affection towards her...but he is mesmerized by her... he is very very protective on her.. I think he is scared of his toxic fans .. they are not following each other in weibo... but the way they interact it shows they are very close to each other... and the post promoting the drama they upload at the same time in their accounts ... beautiful chemistry between the two 💖.. hope to see season two of the drama 💖

Bad taste in fashion for leading lady. Too many costume jewellery.....and that dress is so provincial. And this is one of the worst dramas ever made. From what I see.....storyline are very, very bad. Very shoddily written script. And this leading lady's acting is not up to par. Many supporting actresses' acting are so much better than her. Her acting is the worst among all ladies who I've watched working with Xu Kai.

Dude, this couple are so much overflowing CHEMISTRY, even tho LESS SKINSHIP, do you know what i mean??????? Not too much kissing scene no bedscene, just their eyes ,just look at their eyes, you would see how their Feelings, how their PORTRAYING their ROLE sssoooooo much intense FEELINGS, surely you didnt watch the drama and your just trashing bad words against dongyu cause she is not your fave,, She didnt won BEST ACTRESS AWARDSSSSSS for Nothing, , SHE CAN PORTRAY all the ROLE she's portraying, with different characteristics,
