He is serious and focused, and he doesn't play around, he has a plan, and he takes the matter seriously. I think that's how he fell in love with Xiaoxi. She makes him laugh, she's kind of dumb but smart too, she laughs and cries easily. She's like a child that Jiang is taking care of her. I love this high school drama. The friendships, the teachers, and the parents. This is an Asian culture, with no offense to other cultures. I am Filipino born and raised in the Philippines but live in America for 45 years. We were taught and raised to respect our parents and obey them. Sometimes even if it is against our will we have to follow our parents. No, ifs, ands, or buts! Maybe these days are different, but during my time it was like that. Kudos to all staff to make this drama watchable not only once but countless times! I hope there is part 2 of this drama that shows their wedding, having kids with the rest of the gang, and so forth...❣💝💖

Chen Xiaoxi Loved crazily Jiang chen. & Jiang chen loves her too but he is not expressive. but he does care for her he notices every detail of her he takes care of her in a different way. though she tries to do a lot of things to impress Jiang chen truly she can't do anything properly she messed up but Jiang chen doesn't hate her this side even he enjoys her cute mistakes or way of doing thing secretly. from the beginning to end Jiang chen believe in that Chen Xiaoxi is something is part of him, a reliable partner who never separate from him she belongs to him. And the 2nd lead exactly behaves like Chen Xiaoxi . the way Chen Xiaoxi does stuff to get Jiang chen attention exactly the same way Wu bo song does stuff to get Chen Xiaoxi . no matter how much you love a person if he doesn't love you doing impressive stuff doesn't work. The result is different because Chen Xiaoxi's crush Jiang chen love her equally. but Wu bo song only loved Chen Xiaoxi but she never was in love with him or never will.
