Such a lovely bag! 👍Well done. Can I have a question? Regarding the lid on the top, I see you shaped it directly with scisosors, threads & needels, and I guess it is because the bamboo mesh is firm enough itself so no strips would go loose when you cut it. I am wondering is it still applicable too if you take away the green fine bamboo strips when you cut it? (which means only the main strips making the hexagons stay) Thank you very much. 😊

Thank you for watching. I will answer your questions. It is easier to understand when I see the scene you are cutting with scissors. The long side is stable but the short side tends to fall apart. Without the thin blue bamboo, it is even less stable. However, even without the blue thin bamboo, there is no problem if you use wood glue to glue the parts that fall apart. In other words, you can make it with only hexagons. Good luck!
