草食恐龙的栖息地山清水秀，龙杰地灵，是肉食恐龙Diego一心想占领的地方。草食恐龙Yaya的爸爸原是种族里的英雄，守护着草食恐龙的家园。但是在一次与肉食恐龙Diego的战斗中，Yaya的爸爸英勇牺牲，从此，草食恐龙被迫不停迁徙。
在一次意外中，Yaya认识了穿越到恐龙时代的阿五，并决定帮他一起找回自己的救命恩人。在路途中，他们结实了朋友，遇到过肉食恐龙，Yaya更是在这个过程当中克服了自己内心的恐惧。牙牙决定，肉食恐龙再次侵略的话，她要像爸爸一样坚守阵地，保卫家园...
Diego, the leader of carnivorous dinosaurs, always wants to take over the habitat of herbivorous', which is beautiful and picturesque. Herbivorous dinosaur Yaya’s father was a hero protecting the race but sacrificed during a fight with Diego. Therefore, the herbivorous dinosaurs have to migrate when those carnivorous come.
Yaya encountered Woody, travelling from the future, and decided to help him to find his partner who is also her rescuer. During the journey, they make more friends and together fight against the carnivorous dinosaurs. Yaya finally overcomes her inborn fear and makes a decision -- stand her ground just like her father when the carnivorous' invade next time...
