This was a very informative video. Thanks a lot for this. Looking at your spreadsheet though, I felt that it is better to go for retracing bolide even for crescent pike, because there are times when there aren't elemental particles coming in which is when retracing bolide does 70-80 more damage than bloodstained+glad, especially in the beginning of the fight, and even when there are elemental particles coming in, bloodstained+glad wins over retracing bolide only by a negligibly small number like 20~30 damage. And I actually tend to think that it is easier to farm retracing bolide because all the chars are competing for those glad 2 piece sets and the glad 2 piece sets are very hard to min/max. Seeing your spreadsheet made me make this conclusion. Again, thanks a lot for your info.

I'm late to the party, but I've been prepping for Zhongli's rerun. I'm glad I forged a Crescent Pike since I don't have Jade Spear (and if I did, it'd be on Xiao). Planning on running a Superconduct team around him with Rosaria and Fischl. 4th member will either be Venti or Noelle, but I can't decide which is better for Xiao's team and what's better for Zhongli's team.

I accidentally got jade spear from permanent gacha and just started farming blood artifacts this guide was a savior since now i know what to do to get the most of that lucky shot i got, time to farm some bolide thank you so much!

I have the Vortex Vanquisher and all Retracing artifacts maxed but switched to 2 glad 2 bloodstained. Since Vortex gives you shield strength I’m enjoying these artifacts more plus a 5 star Geo damage goblet. Gonna level up his Ult now

Yeah zhongli might not hit as hard as razor or keqing but he will make it up for it with speed and fast amounts of damage

crescent pike supremacy, I knew the pike would win in terms of physical dps. Its broken. U need good crit substat artifact to nullify the crit boost of jade spear, each piece has around 2 substat points at least dumped into crit rate. Thats about 25%,( 5 to 7% rate) it can be higher, a four point into crit can be 17% crit chance in a non crit rate artifact( grinding will take forever). Reach 61 w base 5 and a 31 crit head piece. Food makes it 71. The additional hits of pike keeps up w the bonus attack of that 5 star spear. pike might surpass( jade phys w elemental dmg) it w superconduct, doesnt seem like you tested w that. Physical dps build MUST have superconduct for the phys defense down.

Have fun doing this again when the Staff of Homa drops

2pglad+2pblood vs retracing bolide the difference between the 2 is basicly 18% more atk vs 15% physical dmg on normals(i still dont get why the normal attack and charge attack are considerd additive with physical dmg only for the damage type) so because the fact we got food, bennett or thrilling tales of dragon slayer. retracing bolide will always be better in ttl dmg. and in zhonglis case the atk break point of this is something like 2000-2100, its less the more HP you got. your build i would say maybe 1950? most other chars is somewhere around 2400 with full physical% stacking. so ya in a team setting RB better imo well i got 1 exeption to crescent pike being the best for phyisical, because how zhonglis HP scaling is, dragonspine spear is actually better IMO, with your build(dont know the talent lvl since this actually intregral to this) at lvl 6 talent you do about 5% less dps then crescent pike, but at lvl 9 talent you do .5% less, but if you were to aim for the enhance cryo hit(if you got super conduct team comp, having cryo on the enemy is feasable) you do 10% more dmg with lvl 6, and 8% more with lvl 9(ya talent lvl does alot with this making it do less ttl % increase) but wait theres one more layer to this with the combo of the last 2 points ive stated. if we add in a bennett ult giving 800 more atk. dragon spine spear with the 80% talent lvl 6 hit does .1% more dps(woo the break point) 12% for 200% hit, and with talent lvl 9 80% hit is .9%, and 200% hit would be 11% hit and these are roughtly based on your build. the only downside to this is that when you get R5 of both weapons comparison, its 160% hit, followed by crescent pike followed by 360% hit in terms of dmg

Me who got deathmatch👁️👄👁️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ I'm using a 4 pc glad with insane substats too. So i cant really get better artifacts than those. I got a crit rate helmet with deathmatch giving me 89 crit rate but i still got 140 crit damage from the substats. Getting better artifacts feels impossible
