oh my god you are right on the money, it's the ending theme for a fantasy-reality tv series called ashes of love (the song is written by Sa Dingding herself) growing up watching these, i never realized just how out of this world the stages in china were until other people point it out, this stage was done outdoors and people say they could hear these two's high notes even outside the mini stage city they built for the gala... and over the fireworks, that was real the rest of the gala is immensely beautiful, they have lit up buildings in the background, a river running through the stage (some of the singers that came in later were on a boat) but of course, the best part of the gala was these two! I love the quality of your videos and am here for all the charlie zhou shen episodes

The fireworks were real as they appeared in their rehearsal which, by the way, stopped the traffic. Their voices went "through" the noise of the fireworks and attracted the attention of the people outside the venue (I heard it was a historical site/theme park, but not sure).
