This is one of my favorite song of all time! It is hunting and thought provoking. It needs great skills and deep understanding of life to master that. No wonder Zhou Shen wasn’t able to sing it well 5years ago while he was trying to include it in his album. His experience in the past few years and the ever improving singing techniques made it possible for him to get this song done perfectly. I have to admire him for not giving up on this song. Love it!

Love ZS’ performance of this song! It was superb! His voice control and facial expression were so captivating! Thx for reacting to this amazing song! This song was written 5-6 yrs ago but Mr Goa couldn’t find the perfect singer. ZS did try back then, but Mr Goa wasn’t satisfied; after all these yrs, Mr Goa felt ZS is mature enough to perform!

I can't tell how much I love this song. I might have listened it hundreds of times. When he is singing, I forget everything. This song is #1 on my playlist. The background of the lyrics is a little bit sad but the song itself is incredible. Glad you loved it. And thank you so much for this reaction without pausing in the middle of the song. 👍

I had a similar reaction to Charlie's song when I first heard it...I thought it was haunting, don't know why. But whatever he did, he did a wonderful job with that song. And in the Ace vs Ace video, you exhibited tremendous self-control, since you probably guessed what was next in the video. 😂😂

My top 1 favourite song of Zhou Shen. Just love the way how he handled this deep dark song, the feeling of regrets, sadness, loneliness screaming from within. A unique song based on a true story of a will left to his child. There were changes of some words, instead of the original 我（I）changed to 你（you) and seemed like a conversation between the parent and the child. Such a stunning performance. Zhou Shen nailed it .👍👍👍👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏💖

What do you mean a true story? Nah, the theory that it's a child/parent song is just a theory, one of many possibilities. There're many ways to analyze it and look at it. The meaning ISN'T clear, it's vague on purpose.

After that, there were another 2 divas tried it but failed. I nearly forgotten. This time, Zhou Shen propose to try this song again, he break through." *Wen Qing basically refers to a person who works on literatures. *Techer Gao knew this old Wen Qing personally. *Yin Yue is the female producer of Zhou Shen's first album. *address refers to 'I' and 'you'. * 破茧成蝶 - literally means butterfly break out from cocoon. I translated to : break through. I am not good in translating, trying my best to get the nearest meaning out of it. May be you can try using google translation or the best is other fans could help to have a more better translation . So glad you like this song! It's one of my favorite Zhou Shen performances, too. You will like his "Song of Paradise Island," kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b6l3ppmb1s26qH0.html . He and a TV station rearranged a lullaby for a murder mystery show, where he put clues in the lyrics for the audience. It's a really good performance and hope you like it. Ahh, now you understand why we were pestering you to react to this! It's brilliant. This was actually the first performance I saw from him! And I was left with the impression that this was the kind of music he does. Dark, mysterious, a bit sexy and a bit creepy. Imagine my surprise when it turned out he mostly does ballads. ;_; Don't get me wrong, I love the ballads he does, but rock music is more my style. So when he does a powerful song like this I like it the most. That show!! The whole Ace vs Ace episode is subbed, you should totally watch it, it's hilarious. There's a skit where Hua Hua and Shen Shen act as brothers. And both sing in the episode (Zhou Shen a duet with Sa Dingding, which is BRILLIANT, you should check it out).
