TRIGGER WARNING, SUICUDAL THEMES That season was very difficult for me to watch for several reasons. I grew up in a pretty screwed up family so I've dealt with some serious situational mental health issues that I deal with on occasion despite being in a better place now. The scene with Maya in the bath reminded me of the time I once put my head underwater and started to drown to know what it felt like because at the time I was feeling numb. Super weirdly enough my sister looks very very similar to Olivia and when Olivia'a hair is straightened the resemblance is uncanny. She also dresses in the same style Maya wore that season with the long vests and tank tops, pants etc. My sister had a really dark time in her life too and watching that season was like being brought back to that place where she was suicidal and I thought she was going to die. Very emotional experience. My sister is doing better now and so I can now watch these scenes more easily. I really felt for Maya, Zig had sort of drifted out of Maya's life and she considered him to be her best friend so yeah I thought that was pretty shitty of Zig but I get that breakups are awkward, cheating and lying is awful so if Maya wasn't going to forgive him I'd understand and Esme was a bad influence. The loneliness and isolation Maya felt was depicted really well, some of the best portrayals of a suicidal character and of depression I've ever seen on tv.

It's been hard on her since Cam died. The old Maya left when Cam died. I think Cam took a part of Maya with him when he died. Zig of course is no help at all because Maya has been trying to date him for the longest time and has done all these great things for him and just keeps ruining her life.

If you’re talking bout the hospital then Esme’s there cause she found Maya and Zoe there because they’re friends, even though Zoe did some fucked up shit
