God used this song to save me from suicide in 2016-17. Because i did not have the strength or faith to pray it was my daily prayer. The words resonated with me at a very deep level. There must be a good reason behind it. I doubt Tuku did it for just money

Dr Mtukudzi our hero not because of freedom fighting but for articulating the shona traditonal culture we have learnt a lot from his iconic message through music. As for me i give due regards unto such wonderful career that drove the young generations to try to venture into the industry of music as have been inspired by legend TUKU. So our ambassador may his soul rest in eternal peace. For since we bilieve that jesus died and rose again, even so through jesus God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. My study time at Vaal Tech (VUT) in Vaal, Sedibeng District, South of Johannesburg was bearable solely because Olivero Tuku Mtukudzi's music kept me and my brothers (Kgokga, Linda, Tawana ya Mokhele, Jason, Sbusiso, Molefi, Sipho, Savanah, Tiloza, Thabo and Motsamai) going. Qualifications were complited, thanks this giant's music.
