Allah will forgive every sin that he will, except associating partners with Him that is Shirk. Now Shirk is not just the biggest sin, it turns a believer in to non-believer. So it's punishment is stamped. That means no if/but. Once a person dies as a disbeliever, his destination is hell. Allah will not forgive that persons, no matter how much goos deeds they did before death. Allah's decision is obvious to all mankinds who are alive.

However, Zina or adultery is no doubt one of major sins among not praying, murdering, robbing, dishonesty and not fasting during Ramadan. All these sins may be forgiven by Allah Almighty upon His will. Stoning to death is a worldly punishment. Even smallest of the punishment of Akhirah (after death) is way way more painful than all wordly punishments combined together. Now, imagine stoning to death for Adultery or Zina would stand any chance against punishment after death. Allah may forgive prostitute who committed adultery in Akhirah. How lucky that person would be, who might be saved from punishment after death. Burning in fire whose fuel is stone and human.

May Allah forgive our sins and give us Hidaya. Aameen.

Either one confessed or not,but if someone put allegations against him or her ,and they are caught, and there is evidence and 4 shahadah against him, he will be punished according to law, and only punishment right is for law and court, no one else, and if someone saved himself from punishment due to lack of shahadah or evidence,though he is a sinner, then rhis matter is between Allahsbw and himself, he should repent and seek forgiveness and Allah has a mercy upon a person who repent,and those who get punished, they will not be punished in hereafter for thier sin. what are conditions for punishment ,mostly professional and habitual people will be caught.and Allah knows best

That person should fogive you first. Please do not speak out of emotions. Because of uneducated hotblooded muslims today we have what we have in Syria, Afghanistan and other countries!

Indeed. Allah says to hide your sins from others and repent for them privately, also you spoke the truth. It's actually very very hard to have the punishment actually happen. You would need to testify against yourself repeatedly and there would have to be witnesses. What's best for you is to repent sincerely and make a covenant to never do it again and if you cannot control yourself you should be married and this only applies to the Muslims or believing folks.

All witnesses also have to be known as good/upright individuals in society for their word to be believed. This can only happen if people are fornicating publicly. So, this law is to prevent open fornication and also to give us some perspective on how bad this action is.

Khattab sat on the pulpit of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said: Verily Allah sent Muhammad (ﷺ) with truth and He sent down the Book upon him, and the verse of stoning was included in what was sent down to him. We recited it, retained it in our memory and understood it. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) awarded the punishment of stoning to death (to the married adulterer and adulteress) and, after him, we also awarded the punishment of stoning, I am afraid that with the lapse of time, the people (may forget it) and may say: We do not find the punishment of stoning in the Book of Allah, and thus go astray by abandoning this duty prescribed by Allah. Stoning is a duty laid down in Allah's Book for married men and women who commit adultery when proof is established, or it there is pregnancy, or a confession. Stoning is permissible in a state governed by Islam. However it is better if the individual doesn’t expose his sins and lives. This is what the Prophet PBUH would prefer.

The problem I have with this is that it's basically saying sin should go unpunished... which is a huge problem. So by that logic anyone can cheat (adultery) and not be punished? Are we not setting a bad precedent? Where's the justice in that... (Same with other Christian philosophy (such as turn your other cheek for a slap), they promote injustice and they are not practical at all. Which is why I believe they were fabricated...

If someone commits zina then they don't have to tell anyone, they can ask for forgiveness and Allah still forgives. The only times the punishments were implemented was because of confession, meaning that the people that did the zina wanted the punishments to get rid of the guilt.

the scholar are just doing their job by narrating what is mentioned in the book of hadith, written by people that is trustworthy and honest, and to their best of memories what was mentioned by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) you saying dont trust these scholars as if you had done your research about the Hadith? so by saying that are you saying dont trust Rasullullah? The main reason is because it is a disobedience to Allah. Why would Allah make us restrain our natural desire? Because the reason we are on earth is to earn our place in Jannah. In Jannah you will have every pleasure your heart desires. Allah wants us to enjoy pleasures. The sweetest of which is sex. So Allahs test is for us the earn his highest everlasting pleasures in jannah but he is also very kind. He allows us to fulfill our sexual desires in marriage. The husband owes his wife sexual satisfaction and well as the wife owes the husband sexual satisfaction. I pray that Allah grant me and you the strength to hold out in the life so that we're can earn everlasting pleasure in jannah where nothing is limited; instead it is increased and gets better forever. This unfathomable paradise and the Joy's it contains isn't free we have to earn it. One way to earn it is tho restrain from the temptation of Zins. Hope this answers the question.

in the quran it doesnt say dont do zina, it says dont go near to zina. means dont even come close to anything that could lead you to zina. because it could lead us deeper to many negative things or thoughts, bad habits, mental issues, or worst kill innocent life like some people did (abortion), which btw the very next verse after talking about dont go near zina is talking about dont kill. so thats why zina is a major sin cause it could lead to dangerous thing

What determines how large a sin is in Islam is the Misery it causes. For example, drinking alcohol is a sin, but not as big of a sin as Zina, listening to music is a sin, but a lot smaller sin than Zina. Music can give you bad haram impure thoughts and change your perception of the world. Alcohol damages your body. That is why it is haram. However the act of commiting Zina is a major sin because of the devestation it can cause. It can lead to families splitting apart when they found out their daughter commited Zina, Spreading of viruses, unintentional pregnancy that leads to murder of the child (abortion), and a bunch of heart breaks. Heart breaks, viruses, abortion (murder), families splitting apart. That is why it is such a big sin. It has a lot more side effects than other sins like listening to music or alcohol.

You said that the reason why fornication is a major sin is that it leads to bad things, so does alcohol, it splits families, it destroys lives. Many people end up getting hurt or even killed or injured because of alcohol but fornication is something two people do in private out of their own consent, yes it is still a major sin for the reasons you mentioned but you shouldn’t say that it is worse than drinking alcohol because it clearly isn’t.

strong hadith were written by companions after the death of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) , and it was written by people who the community trusted as a person who is honest and trustworthy, and the message of Prophet Muhammad ( pbuh ) were written down and was recorded to the best of their memory, we have to understand the laws of Arabs back in the days because Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) he was not only a prophet, he was Governor too and he has laws that need to be instill in the land of Arabia, That was the laws back in the days i repeat AT THAT TIME. of course nowadays Governors change laws has change, but to said that Prophet Muhammad was wrong? are we are any better than him? do we know the punishment that will take place in Jahannam for the Sin of Zina? Verily Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has been there, and the punishment of stoning to death is NOTHING compare to the punishment of Jahannam, It like its better to be put to death while we still have this much Sin than commiting the sin of Zina over and over and over again. let us repent and ask for forgiveness from Allah swt, may all our Major sins be forgiven, Insyallah.
