I'm an Arsenal fan & words can't tell you how disappointed i was in our fanbase at the end of last season. For 30 games, Partey was world class & irreplaceable. A few mistakes & suddenly he's "finished", crazy how everyone turned on him. We've stood by average players like Xhaka, Mustafi, Djourou, Denilson, Arshavin etc but can't wait to get rid of a world class player after just a few mistakes smh

@@yussufbare7553 Let me educate you. People are suddenly overrating Xhaka due to revisionism, before last year many fans were asking for him to be replaced. Granted he had a great year last year but 1/7 years isn’t a great ratio. He is average, at best decent. Great is Patrick Vieira, Fabregas, Gilberto, Petit… If you think Xhaka has been good throughout his ENTIRE time at Arsenal, then you certainly didn’t watch out past legendary midfielders. Honestly, these are all questions: "Who is better?" - are very incorrect and cannot be objective. 🤷‍♂ If you ask: "Who is better than you (me) or Ronaldo?" - everything is obvious and objective. But when asked to compare two top players, it is wrong. You have to consider many factors: a player's soccer background, his environment (partners), what period he is going through (maybe he is in his prime, maybe he is in a slump). Yes, Zinna has played with many people, but of course, what is most memorable are his recent thoughts and emotions related to Arsenal players. That's psychology. Therefore, it is quite normal that Zinchenko speaks so positively about Arsenal players. But this is just his subjective feelings at the moment. I love Zinny! Glory to Ukraine! 💛💙 Peace to all! 🙏

Partey could play for any side as for Rodri, he’s perfect for the system of Pep but he’s not as agile and smooth as well as skillful as Partey. Don’t forget that he’s also playing in the best oiled machine and strongest team in the world which makes it easier for him than for Partey. He’s also not as injury prone as Partey

City was already winning lots of titles before Rodri came but Haaland was the missing piece. Palmer won the treble as well, something CR never did so is Palmer better than CR? Lukas Podolski won the World Cup unlike CR7 so is Poldi better than CR? So you think you know more about the game than Zinchenko and Simeone? Partey was way better as a shield for Atlético than Rodri used to be. Older so what? De Bruyne is also older than. Most midfielders and still the best in his position. Titles and age don’t define a player. Partey is very elegant but he was playing with an injury at the end of last season in a team that lost its way whereas Rodri started to perform really well when the business end started and city went on a big winning streak. Zinni played with them all and the fact that he chose Partey just shows that he can’t be as bad as you say regardless of whether he’s better than Rodri. He’s definitely underrated and better than what you make of him.

I support Real Madrid and many people in Spain back at the time viewed Partey, Kante and Casemiro as the best DM’s in the world. I remember how Partey handled Liverpools midfield all by himself for Atlético in the CL against Liverpool in the KO stages. In the end both are absolutely amazing but I still feel that Partey is very underrated

Rodri’s understanding of the game is second to none. The way he controls matches. Now he’s started adding more goals to his arsenal. Not every Jim and Jack execute what Rodri does. I’m sure that’s why Arteta went on to get Declan Rice cause he needed someone different to try this role after he tried it with Partey numerous occasions. Don’t get me wrong, Partey is quality, absolutely. But in football you have to get the basics right all the time. You have to use your intelligence/understanding and your technical abilities.

Rodri is different as he doesn’t suit any team, he’s perfect for the way Pep plays but I do think Partey could play well for any side in Europe. He’s more agile and skillful than Rodri in my opinion but I love them both, there is not much between them

@@oyindamolagideonolarewaju418 I didn’t say he can’t play for other teams but matter of the fact is that he didn’t play as good for Atlético Madrid as he’s doing for City. There was never ever talk of him being the best dm until the end of last season and that was also down to the fact that city won the treble. Before that there was always Kante, Casemiro and Partey in the mix. He could play for other teams but prime Partey from Atlético was far better than Rodri used to be under the same system and manager (Simeone). Rodri is also not that great in the Spanish team. Did Spain win any title of any significance in the last years with Rodri in the middle? No, they’re not even favorites. So how is that possible since you list Rodri as the main reason as to why City won the treble? Rodri is a very important player but the best players for City last season we’re KDB, Haaland and Gündogan who turned into Zidane 2.0 towards the end of the season.

I think Rodri has some respect for Partey too.... Rodri bosses every midfielder he comes up against, almost bullying. But not so much when he comes up against Thomas Partey. But for the consistency I will give it to Rodri. Although Rodri is playing for a better side. Your role becomes easier with the likes of Gundoghan and Bernardo silva around you.

Really dont think its a good idea arsenal players on rio ferdinand show during the season, part of me believes at all. Hes a manchester united legend and not one united player has been on , he knows what hes doing . And part of it is clips/headlines for rainy days. Soon as partey has a bad game this will be used in or out of context among other things , arsenal pr is poor.
