Problem is joint family system. The long this system is there these type of incidents will happen. And joint family system exists because of financial problems of the families, one earns and everybody eats, but at the end those eaters do not recognise the sacrifice of the provider.

New generation understood that there is no use of patience in this kind of situation. The more you tolerate the more the in laws will torture you . New generation knows where to use patience (just like NEET aspirants takes3-4 yrs drop sometimes to get a government college and fulfill their dream ) , new generation can go to any extent to achieve their dream because there is a chance of promising future but don't want to show patience with in-laws because they will never change!

Correct. I hate her father making daughter to keep suffering. He was educated and knew how quite his daughter was, and how her in-laws were. She was getting sick. She lost her smile and grace. His daughter was educated, capable, good looking. He should have gone for other options. Her in-laws were not a type to be adjusted. U can only adjust or live happily , if you are of their type.
