FYI: 1. Hritik roshan and Farhan Akhtar are actually childhood friends. 2. This film was directed by Zoya Akhtar who is Farhan Akhtar's sister 3. All the poetry is written by Javed Akhtar (a legend here) who is Farhan Akhtar's father & is a top notch lyricist 4. While in the film, Farhan's character is the one scared of heights, he is the only one comfortable enough to skydive that he jumped atleast 40 times to shoot that scene. 5. Don movies which you saw are directed by Farhan too. Lastly, you should look at 'Lakshya' movie in which Hritik roshan is the main lead and the movie is directed by Farhan Akhtar (he is multitalented yes!).

Its kind of amazing that the poems Imran recited throughout the movies are in Hindi and they are so good but then the translated poems are equally as good...sometimes things get lost in translation but i think the translations of the poems were on point

Love that you watched this movie, what a great choice. The perfect companion movies are Dil Dhadakne Do and Dil Chahta Hain. The Zoya and Farhan Akhtar really created redefined coming of age films in Hindi cinema.

if you loved the performance of farahan akhtar (IMRAAN) in this one. Then you really have to watch bhaag Milkha bhaag starring the same actor. Yeh jawani hai deewani, zindagi na milegi dobara, and bhaag Milkha bhaag are my all time favourites of bollywood.

Yeah, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is like the most serious version of Yeh Jawanni Hai Deewani as it shows one character trying to live his life instead of living money, one trying to figure out whether he should be married or not and another trying to meet his father. I suggest you to watch Dil Chahta Hai (Starring Aamir Khan). It's also a movie about 3 friends enjoying their life. It's classic movie.

Yay! This is one of my favorite movies, and awesome reaction, as usual, my bwoy! 😁 May I pose an incredibly nerdy question and ask where you streamed the movie from? Because this version of the movie in your reaction has the most accurate subtitles I've seen so far (much better than Netflix or my DVD copy), and that makes the language nerd in me very happy... 😅 (And I also concur with the comments below - looking forward to a Jab We Met reaction!)

@@waduminbutmore He's a superhero in the trilogy: Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish and Krrish 3 (there's no Krrish 2). Koi Mil Gaya isn't a superhero movie but Krrish is it's sequel and that's when he becomes a superhero.

Kabir definitely loved natasha. Everything between them was real. But as he said he wasn't prepared to get married just yet. He wasn't ready. So that's why they're still together even after cancelling the marriage and I'm glad natasha understood that and stayed with him instead of breaking up.

Farhan Akhtar (The guy who played Imran) is the director of Don and Don 2 and also Dil Chahta Hai (starring Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Khanna ,which in my opinion is the bestest buddy movie in the modern Hindi cinema, ZNMD can be a close competitor to it, but still Dil Chahta Hai outshines).

@@waduminbutmore Yeah Amin please please do watch Dil Chahta Hai, it's a gem of a movie, it's the first movie in Indian cinema that started this 3 Buddy friendship , and their holiday trip concept, before Dil Chahta Hai Hindi movies used to be very different as the 90 s were probably the worst phase in Indian cinema with all those cheesy and cringe movies ( except for few SRK movies and Aamir movies) , that's why when Dil Chahta Hai released in 2001 it became like a breath of fresh air for moviegoers .It became a trend breaker and a new trend setter.......it was Farhan Akhtar' debut directorial, and ZNMD was Farhan Akhtar's elder sister Zoya Akhtar's directorial. ZNMD is a great film but Dil Chahta Hai is a masterpiece.
