Zio Patch Heart Monitor
1. Wear the monitor
Your healthcare provider will prescribe a Zio monitor. It will be applied to your chest during an office visit, or sent to your home for self-application.
2. Note any heart symptoms
If you feel anything that you think might be unusual, press the top of the Zio patch. Then briefly describe it in the provided symptom log booklet or on the MyZio mobile app.
3. Return the monitor by mail
After your prescribed wear time, simply remove the monitor and put your log booklet and monitor back in the same box it came in. Then drop it into any USPS mailbox.
4. Review the results with your doctor
iRhythm will analyze your heart data and generate a clear and complete report for your doctor, who can then make a diagnosis and create a care plan
