Yeah, I was arguing with those morons on videos of his Duke games with people who thought he had to develop a perimeter shooting game to succeed in the NBA. There's more space in the paint for Zion in the NBA game because the 3 point line is further out and the 3 point shooters are far better.

He's the most blocked player because he challenges defenders by going straight into them. Most of the time I see him get blocked he grabs the ball back and scores, because his second jump is so quick the defender is usually still on the floor.

Everything in his game right now come from his quick steps, including the dunks, which could be taken away with one major injury, remember MVP Rose? I hope the Pelicans have this in mind and help Zion develop a further game not just let him be the Shawn Kemp, no matter how freaking amazing that looks.

And obviously he’s working on his game. As trash as the pelicans organization is, they have arguably the best shooting coach in the league. Zion already has great shot mechanics and he works with him everyday. Pull up middy’s will certainly be in his arsenal soon

@@youngfreeman4801 There is no reason to shoot a pull up midrange shot, the least efficient shot in the game, when you can get to the basket at will. It's bailing out the defense.

@@Don-md6wn yes there is when you have Zion’s type of athleticism. I’m really should say pull up close range to free throw line mid. That’s the shot MJ mastered because of his insane hang time. He doesn’t need deep 2’s, but Zion can rise over anyone and hit that close shot all day. He did it in high school often

@@Don-md6wn because all that dunking is bad on the knees especially with all that weight coming down on his knees is not good at all he needs to shoot more u want him to be in the lead for a long time not a short period of time look at Blake griffin for example did all that all that dunking now look at him don’t even play the same no more career slowed down a lot

@@kidink-_3782 Give me a break, the kid is 20 years old and you want to skip past his prime and worry about how he will play when he's 30. If you watch Zion you can see he's laying the ball up quite a bit when he could be dunking to reduce the wear and tear on his body. So you have people complaining that he's not doing as many highlight reel dunks. Some people are never happy, even when a 20 year old kid is scoring 25 a game and shooting over 60% from the floor.

Stupid clickbait title. It even says in 6:36, what's he leading the league in is in dunks + LAYUPS, and anyone who watches him plays knows that he mostly goes for layups near the rim. (and is incredible at them even with 4 defenders all over him) ESPN deliberately lied for a clickbait title while citing a misleading stat: dunks + LAYUPS. We have stats for dunking, he's not dunking more than Giannis/Dwight/Gobert/peak DeAndre Jordan/Blake Griffin. But he is scoring in the paint more than most of them with absurd efficiency. He currently has 58 dunks in 29 games, roughly 164 dunks in a season. Gobert peaked at 306, Giannis peaked at 279 (in 72 games). DeAndre Jordan peaked at 253. Dwight peaked at 269. He's not Lebron but his touch for his size is something we haven't seen since Lebron. Left hand, right hand, through contact, doesn't matter. It's crazy.
