Speaking as a 6'2" 285 dude, Zion is pushing 320 right now. He needs to be around 245 playing weight to maximize his natural gifts, and at 245 even if he never worked another minute at improving his skills he'd be an unstoppable force driving to the basket and as a rim runner. It's sad to see he's just one of those guys who doesn't love the game and gave up after the big payday. Been a lot of those guys, Ben Simmons among them.

1.)The real problem with Zion is he still an all-star, it's like he having success which sometimes gets in the way of long-term output and goals because it works short term you naturally just do what you want. Zion probably has to even try harder than the average athlete on his team to stay in close to peak playing condition. I remember Charles asked Brandon Ingram after a game last year about where he and Zion eats and and then he started asking about Zion's favorite chicken wings and foods and BI was laughing and had to quit the interview early lol. 2.) Paid to see Weby and Zion in NOLA and was disappointed. Weby sat out and Zion just stood around all game. Not sure if it's fitness or just lack of interest, but it is NOTICEABLE. I was 408lbs and got down to 280lbs by changing my diet. Even at 408, I gave full effort though. Hope he conquers the food addiction

UK fan here....he had that issue there as well. Then coach Joe B. Hall put him on a restricted diet and Turpin's girlfriend would come to the Wildcat Lodge, where the players lived on campus, and sneak him up cheeseburgers through his window! Sad how his career suffered from it. Ended up taking his own life later. RIP big Mel.

It was Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius. When he would ride his chariot into Rome, crowd roaring, there was a slave behind him whispering "memento mori." Latin for "remember one day you will die." Basically saying you're not a god. One of my favorite quotes/stories.
