My favourite thing to do on this ride is when it stops at the top and you and another cart are facing each other and just talk casually then scream when it starts moving again

I went on this today after MUCH pure pressure from my friends who love this ride and I was screaming bloody murder. It's 3 hours after riding and I still have that shaky feeling. 10/10 would ride again

I was always tempted to get on the Zipper ride each time a fair came to my local state, but each time I approached it, I just walk away.

I'm 54 years old now and I've ridden "The Zipper" several times over the decades. I don't know what company designed and manufactured The Zipper attraction, but it's the best ride I've ever been on! Word of advice: you'd better take some over-the-counter Dramamine before going on this ride for motion sickness.

This ride is interesting. It varies a great deal in intensity from ride to ride. It can feel completely out of control and disorienting or it can be plain fun and even relaxing. I like its lack of predictability. Great ride!

Im not afraid of theme park rides, but when I rode this I felt like I was going to die. The cage was very rusty, and it looked old. I was screaming so much that the guy working their let me off after about 30 seconds 😂

Went on this yesterday with my friend after she begged me. I kid you not I was shouting gods name the whole time 😂 very scary, never again. Keep in mind I’ve never even been on a rollercoaster before, that was my first experience on an even remotely big ride. I gripped the bars so tight I swear I got arthritis haha, super sore today 🤦‍♀️

I swear I hate this ride, I did a 360 like six times, banged by head on the roof of the cart, and I kept screaming bc of the spinning

I loved this ride when I was 12 !!! But when I wasn't old enough or tall enough I was... Terrified! I'll never go on that! Now it's one of my most favorite. I haven't been on the ZIPPER since 1978! I was 18 yrs young.

Tip Top Shows bought one the year I was working GT Desesk Shows and for them in 1969. What a shaker it was...good money after hours. Great days back then..Still running gas engines on the Octopus.....

Literally, my favorite ride at a mini carnival I went to or a fair. When you hit those wheels at the end, just right win it’s moving towards the ground or flipping upward. It speeds you up in the G forces are insane. My poor mother was terrified. She rode with me the first time.

Went on this ride ONCE when I was like 14 (36 now) It was ok till it started going backwards and then when I got off I felt like I was gonna yak for about an hour... 10/10 would NOT ride again

I've been on this lol, mom wouldn't stop screaming until we stopped then she acts like nothing happened until we would start going again 😂

I had no idea this ride still existed. I remember this from the early 90’s it would come with the fair that came to town for a few days every summer. I was scared of it until I rode it and had a good time. Like 9 or 10 years old

Test of manliness, this ride. As a kid in the late 80s and early 90s this carnival ride was what got you that cred, lol. It was a piss factory though man, lots of them couldn't hold it in. Gotta hand it to the engineers who came up with it, for a CARNIVAL of all things. They had the most dangerous stuff, but it was all badass.

Going back half a century, my mother gave me $8 in small change to go to our local fair with my nice or kids. I only went on the zipper once, I couldn't get scared of the ride for all the loose change I was trying not to lose, by holding my left pocket as tight as I could. The fear of being smacked by my own change let alone having it fall out to the ground! Uggh!
