Күн бұрынThe 2024 Collectible of the Year celebrates three Zippo milestones in an incredible display of artistry.
Introduced as the Florentine in 1974, the iconic Venetian® pattern swirls on all sides of the Armor® case with our Laser Engrave process. The ornate design stands in gorgeous contrast to the Black Matte finish, which made its debut in 1984, while the Zippo flame icon is nestled among diagonal MultiCut pinstripes in an ode to the very first Deep Carve design unveiled in 2004. Finally, the Venetian pattern is replicated with delicate laser engraving on the coordinating gold-flashed insert, which was chosen specifically for the Americas edition.

Great to see another JRO Lights video. I totally agree with you Jon that it is probably best to go with one version of this particular COTY. I also agree with Chucks customers comment about the modern take on a classic design. There are in my opinion, better looking designs from previous years, The Full Circle and the Moon Landing come to mind. This from the last couple of years appears to be the way Zippo are going with the COTY and I look forward to seeing my one arrive.

Are the spectrum venetians? That would have made an awesome COTY if the finish was spectrum.

Yeah there’s definitely mixed reviews from a lot of collectors, but I really think they did good on the concept.

Almost all Zippo reviews on KZfaq do not do the open-clink sound demonstration. Is it because it could damage the lighter itself? Anyways, I like your videos and this collectible is gorgeous. Thank you very much.

Great video JRO! I really like the design of the 2024 COTY. One of my customers said, "it's a modern take on a classic design" and I agree.

Great video and that is a sweet Zippo!! The Venetian design and I share the same birth year, lol. I only own a few of the COTY Zippos, so cannot really form an honest opinion as to which is better. Hope as is well and glad to see a new video from you. ✌️

It's a good looking piece, but I think I would have preferred if the color scheme of the lighter was very different from 2023.

Yeah, I really liked the 2023. They had some big shoes to fill from last year. Despite any pickiness, It’s a nice looking one though.

The Europa one is full black, 2000 in the world, and the price s 239 euro, it's like 261 dollar

The European one isn't fully black. The insert is the standard chrome but they've laser etched the chimney. I would've preferred the black insert

I have no.92 out of 2000 and waiting on the Americas version being delivered. Luckily I was able to snag the European for nearly half the price ZippoUK want
