Zita speaks Twi and Dagaare, two Ghanaian languages in the Niger-Congo family. Twi is spoken by the Asante, Akuapem, and Bono people; Dagaare is spoken by the Dagaaba people. Both languages are related to other Niger-Congo subdivisions.
The two languages spoken in this video, Twi and Dagaare, are both Niger-Congo languages spoken in Ghana. Twi, also known as Akan Kasa, has about 9 million native speakers, who are primarily from the Ashanti region. About 29 percent of the population of Ghana speaks Twi as either a first or a second language. It is the official language of the Ashanti City-State, and has two mutually intelligible dialects: Asante and Akuapem.
Dagaare (specifically Southern Dagaare) is spoken by 700,000 people, with this number increasing. There are 1,000,000 speakers including Northern Dagara, which is spoken in Burkina Faso. Dagaare is the language of the Dagaaba people of mainly Burkina Faso and northern Ghana. Both Twi and Dagaare are written using the Latin script, and both languages also have Braille alphabets.

@@Wikitongues English subtitles are up for the Twi portion of the video, but unfortunately I do not speak Dagaare so that portion remains untranslated

This Asante language is intricately beautiful with it's seemingly exotic phonology ....it has such smooth to rigid intonations. Africa is a warehouse of languages and dialects...

Hence the challenge of how Africa can unite because we have too many ethnic Groups and tribes within the Continent. I personally don't believe in Panafricanism because it is a fallacy in a world that is becoming more global than ever.

Does Twi have a lot of borrowed English vocabulary? It almost felt like listening to a creole at points, being able to match up the speech with the subtitles so easily, although I know it’s not a creole.

No it is not a creole. She is just not as fluent, hence the English mixture. It is probably not her first language since she also spoke Dagaare after the Twi.

In fact the Twi Language is quite difficult for me to master and Appreciate. Ghana is a complicated Nation and I did not know that Dagaare was a Ghanaian Language.
