25:54 To this debate about opening every chest on the map, I think it's important to realize that the drops aren't predetermined. Which means that "that chest which you just left could drop a mirror", yes, but a chest in the next map will have the exact same chance of dropping it. And you don't know the result, until you open the chest (or kill the monster). So the difference is kind of like, if you want to roll 2 dice, you can either roll two dice at once, or you can just roll one, wait for it show the number and roll the same one again. With the former method (throwing 2 dice at the same map - running map quickly and entering a new map) you will get twice the amount of rolls in the same time. Every roll is exactly equal to any other roll, so if you have more rolls, you have more stuff. Albeit, you get lower value out of the single map, because skipped some of the stuff in that map, but as long as you keep dropping more maps (which in general you should), it doesn't matter because maps are limitless, you do not have limited amount of maps that you have to get the most efficiency per map, only limited thing you have is playtime, so you want to maximaze efficient per time. That's the logical conclusion, in my oppinion.

I really like the way this was done. I'am somewhat new and found some really helpful stuff. I had the typical Softcore mindset of DMG > All and now that i spent a day on getting more Def. i really enjoy it. I was doing T5-6 maps and now i farm T9 thanks to you. Hey, one think you could explain is stashtab affinities for the expedition locker and the heist locker, as every player has them for free. Then also the coins would work from the stash

Throwing out my request to do a similar series, but Co-op. there are those link skills that give you a tether to another player. I would love to see poe party play. (With the new tethers) Would it even be possible to level through campaign and do maps with another person without one persons build completely taking over.

Hi Zizaran, I am having a problem getting enough health to do maps. I just started maps at level 72, and only have 2500 points. How do all the videos I watch have pretty much twice that much at the same level? Please help!

Question about the scour workaround- Can’t you just buy white onyx amulets from the vendor on the cheap?

you will find a lot more gem dealers later on, Check the traders for that. they make or brake your build. As for the talent tree, try to optimize for paths. As little minor nodes as possible, as many major nodes as possible. As for the items: They seem kinder underwhelming, thats right. They are. It all revolvs around how many and which sockets they have for your gems and also which bonus modifiers they have. Focus on elemental damage. Poison is chaos damage as far as I know but im a noob still as well. thats all for now.keep exploring. And The game is gonna get a lot harder than that. I can tell you. the community is awesome, so feel free to ask in the public chat for help.

The portals in Lab are bait, just clear it like you would any other map. Pick a wall, stick to it, and loop around the entire map, then clear the middle if there is one. Easy 1 monster left.

Hey Ziz, I started late this league, playing softcore trade. But, when I killed Kitava, the map quests didn't open up for me, and the map device was already available on my hideout. Was it bugged?

Fully clearing and opening everything in a map is obviously going to give more than speed clearing and skipping stuff. The point is what is more efficient in the long term, is fully clearing and opening everything better than clearing more maps in an hour? Probably not.

is it possible for a map to not contain a boss?? I had this weird thing happen multiple times in a row where i couldn't find a boss on a map multiples times.... Did I just miss the boss?

I miss low stone conq influence maps.. Lvling 2nd character isn't as fast

I'm level 75 with 62 fire res, 42 cold, 13 light, and 14 chaos. This is with almost every piece of my gear having atleast 2 res modifiers. I'm early mapping but more often than not I get absolutely melted by the end bosses. Just at a loss on how to move forward

I watched, because I have a level 84 character and have never really got into maps before, but would like to. I have a bunch of maps and know how to build my character and such. After all 1:41:05 of this video, you ended up exactly where I actually am, following the weird directions of various npc's and the quest journal thing. I have 1 watch stone from my last map, and no idea what it does, besides apparently make my maps higher level when I slot it on the atlas map. I can run maps for various npc's in my hideout, no idea why I should. Bro you hardly got started! You advice seems to be simply, "when you're starting out just run everything"... So basically just run what drops like I have been doing.... why did I spend 2 hours on this video?

i still dont understand lol. I usually quit when i get to t5 or t6 yellows and make a new character because even with build guides i just get one shot by everything and stop having fun. Honestly poe maps just suck in general because of reflection mods and ailment res. Funnest part is leveling and beating kitava honestly after that the game just gets too "one shot, or be one shot"

If you're crafting, you shouldn't have you cam over the inventory. It's hard to see what you are clicking on. Also, you are explaining things badly. You aren't really defining terms or using full names. This makes it hard to for someone who is actually a beginner. You are really knowledgable and that's great and once I understand the basics and the terms, it makes more sense but, you are going really fast and not showing how or why first, you are jumping into doing it and kinda explaining along the way as you are doing. It's much more work to figure out as a true beginner.
