It's a terrible shame that it's not available in Peter Drury's commentary... This commentary doesn't seem to do any justice to the sheer ferocity of that strike Saying only "What A Goal" doesn't suffice for THIS strike

Totally agreed, commentator treated it like any other long range goal. This was the hardest shot I've possibly ever seen.

@@shaggyalonso Also the curve on it and perfectly into the net. I don't know why but very few people even know about this goal. Just like with Cavani's bicycle kick against Barca which was offside unfortunately but what a goal..

Look at Zlatan just before the third goal. He's just strolling along watching for an opportunity to occur. Then at an instant he reacts with perfect instinct and scores an unbelievable goal with amazing power and accuracy! Talent beyond belief. Instinct and vision for the game that you could never realy learn. You have to be born with it!

I'm supporter of Anderlecht and i was just behind the goal that night. We are football lovers. We love things like that. It's bigger than everything. We just can say "amazing !" to this. But to be honnest, i only saw that twice: Ibrahimovic and Kevin De Bruyne (just before he moved to Chelsea).

I remember watching this ... third goal came out of nowhere ... as an RSCA fan first you feel pain .. then fraction later you're like "how the hell did he do that?" .. on replay, you're clapping indeed .. genius kick. No matter which side you cheer for, you gotta admire such goals. Brilliant.

I'm for Anderlecht, as a Belgian supporter, but I recognize good players, such as zlatan, who really humilated Anderlecht, and for this season of the CL, this PSG, is more stronger and better, Anderlecht need a miracle or a total off-day of the PSG players

the last goal is underrated. that touch to adjust to your position and timing, and to add the final finishing touch with the short burst of quickness to put it in. its not easy

Consistency issues, injuries, and if his team is not building the offensive, he wouldn't get enough chances to score many goals to meet the voting criteria. I agree, sometimes its unfair for great players like Zlatan. Others like Ribery, Robben, Sneijder, Raul, Henry, Iniesta, Xavi and the list goes on.. all displayed Ballon d'Or level during a period of time.

Yes! Nr 3 is a perfect goal! So magic! So much power but also good touch! In a Champions League match too. He was so dominating! Not forget the applause he got from Anderlecht supporters too. Magic and so cool !! The best player in the field of course and in this time one of the best 2-3 players in the world with no doubt! // He have given me so much pleasure to follow him from the TV, and also live a couple of times. Booth in Juventus at Stadio Delle Alpi Arena in Turin and Inter Milan at San Siro in Milano. And in Sweden National team in Germany VM. And now! 2020. He take Inter Milan in Serie A, up to Nr 1 position and he scores again almost every match he plays for Inter Milan. "Age is just a Nr" :) På SVENSKA !! Var fan bland det värsta jag sett på en fotbollsplan! Han ägde !! Och det i en Champions League match.. Tack Zlatan!
