At the time zlatan was playing against the worlds best defenders in the toughest league back then. That alone is incomparable. Zlatans goals speak for themselves. Volleys, bicycles, headers, weak foot, free kicks, and not to mention back heel goals. At 6’4 and the technical ability, cockyness attitude that EVERY striker needs, he was a complete #9 that will only come once in a decade.

I also prefer zlatan to watch the guy is art. However, I'd much rather have haaland on my team. There is a reason there is so much hype around him the kid is lethal. It will be interesting to see how he will progress as time goes on. I personally think if he keeps it up when messi and cr9 have gone people will be talking about haalad. Very very talented and for a lad his age he's such a smart player.

Zlatan goalscoring started to take real effect when he went to Inter 7 years after his debut arguably. And his goals tally is 485 which is amazing only 12 players have scored more than him. However for me Im just pointing out I think haaland could be more lethal. Not as creative or as artistic but 'could be' more lethal and with his recent overhaul of goals I think it's hard to argue against that, although only time will tell. Zlatan goal ratio 0.59 & Haaland 1.07

Seeing Zlatan in Malmö in the late 90's and early 2000's was like seeing young R9. Z was dribbling in such a unique way, the way we all immigrant kids used to play in the neighborhoods. There was a lot of great young talents from that time but very few got a real chance. Young Zlatans dribbling was incredible, especially for his height.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the most underrated player in football history. He should’ve won the golden ball maybe more then once if it wasn’t for the football rival lobby of Messi and Ronaldo. Ibra is the football god and could have played ball carrying either one of them on his back. The skill he shows for someone of his built and goals he’s scored wherever he played, including the national team are amazing. @prubin8 You know nothing.. . Zlatan won four titles with Dutch club Ajax: two leagues, one cup, and one Super Cup. In Italy, he won three leagues, one with AC Milan and the other two with Inter, besides getting five Super Cups. In France with PSG, Zlatan won two cups, three Super Cups and three leagues. At Spain with Barcelona, Ibra claimed a league, two Spanish Super Cups, a UEFA Super Cup and a Club World Cup. While in England, the striker won the Community Shield, the League Cup, and a Europa League.

One of the greatest no. 9. When I say no. 9 I mean a proper striker who operates in the central areas, holds the ball well , magical skill on the ball, beast in the air and has deadly finishing. Not the inside forwards/semi wingers thing that we see today.

Finally takes that jog into the sunset in the US, and a well earned retirement before moving to a private island. Haaland is a beast, but he needs a team that could provide him (Borussia is perfect for him) Zlatan could play “alone” and create chances and goals absolute from nothing (too many spectacular goals, assists and skills to mention)...that is the real difference from them

@TEAM FOOTBALL i know that numbers in football are important but not the only thing that does matter. With only number you can compare every year Messi with players that score lot of goals such as Aguero, Kane, Suarez, Salah.... open your eyes and mind bro, to watch football in more point of view

@@a.b2484 Statistics indeed don't mean everything, but the fact that he scored 44 goals in only 40 games clearly shows he's an extremely talented goalscorer. Maybe the most talented goalscorer I've ever seen. Just because he doesn't have a technique like Zlatan doesn't mean he's worse.

You could see that this kids was going to go all the way to the top and beyond! Truly one of the greatest there have even been! He deserves more praise then he has been given.
