I got my ZMF Atrium's June 3rd and I can say w/ full confidence and no hesitation that if I had to pick one pair of cans out of my current collection it would be the Atrium's. I currently own the ZMF Atrium's, Meze Empyrean's, Focal Clear MG, Sony Z1R, and HD58x. I'm running them off a Chord Qutest and/or RME ADI-2 Pro (AKM) w/ a Burson Soloist GT. I have yet to dive into tube amps but that is something I'm very much interested in.

I also use my Atriums with the Rme Adi 2 dac, but I run them on the Feliks Audio Euforia Otl tube amp. I'd very much recommend giving tube amps a try, it just sounds so natural. The amp of the Rme now sounds artificial to me.

Thanks Zach, great video! I've bookmarked it for sure. Any chance you can explain if the balanced cables can be repaired? mine stopped working on the right side, unless i hold the cable at a weird U shaped upward angle, right at the cup.

VC are very nice sounding on the Bottlehead Crack(OTL) and LYR 3(Hybrid). Also do not wear your ZMF's in the shower 🚿

I don't know about this myth, but if I know one thing, it's to never tell an audiophile exactly how something does, or doesn't sound! =)

Why do I get the feeling that's potentially directed at me? 🤣🤣🤣 But seriously though it would be cool to see some so called "objectives" on pads for different headphones. I've never gotten much from charts but I know how to look and see a difference and take a stab at guessing where the region I'm looking for a change probably is through Google searching, etc And if I'm being honest with you I think this is where MOST people who know what the charts are are at with chart knowledge 💁

I noticed you take off the cables when you hang them, About how many times cables can be detached before sonics are affected? Have that been ever tested?

4:12 so twisting the pad won't change the sound signature and soundstage/imaging? cause i noticed it has an oval shape, so it's not round. if you twist it, will imaging be affected?
