it's wild because in the movie he reveals this right after they mated (for life) which disqualified neytiri from her future life purpose, the tsahìk. she just threw away her life for love and he betrayed her and her people. zoe did a FANTASTIC job.

I don't know if someone noticed but the scene after she shouted "i trusted you" where you can clearly see how she amazingly shifted from pain to anger to pain again in just mere seconds. i don't know anything about acting but sure i noticed that. and i know that is something worth a true acting spirit. literally made me watch it several times.

@@umustnegayright they could never remake something packed with emotion as this in animation which is why she was a great actor in portraying how she would look in the proportions of the ometakayo but with stunning balance of questioning and depth of anger. In short she’s a better actress for being able to do this amount of acting when her original act was covered by cgi

The pure emotion and way she speaks so confidently and emotionally in this language that isnt even English, all on top of her English acting, is just bliss. She’s not just realistically portraying betrayal and sadness and rage. She’s doing it _in an alien language_ And it sounds NATURAL as if she’s been speaking it all her life and when she gets upset here in this scene she reverts back to it much like someone would their native language when really upset
