@@marissamaurelle151I am so sorry :( I know how you feel, my mom died 6 years ago when I was 7 years old and I can tell you that the pain never really goes away but with time you will be able to deal better with it, just remember that she loves you and always will live in your heart ❤️

This has me in tears. I lost my grandmother in February of this year, I had been taking care of her for 10 years. The whole thing was very traumatic, and I still find it hard to breathe. I honestly don't know what to do without her. I inherited her home after she passed (which my family & I have lived in while taking care of her), but it's honestly hard being here. It doesn't feel like home anymore. I have just gone in such a dark hole since she passed away. I miss her every day. I did everything for her, from cooking & cleaning to bathing her. I knew this time would come, but the way it came has me just dead inside, to the point I feel like just not being here myself. My kids keep me going, but it is still so hard. Everyone seems to think I am fine, but that's only because I hide it in front of everyone.. I just feel like no one understands, and I don't want to be a burden. I struggle to sleep and fall apart while everyone else sleeps. This song got me, got me good. 😭😭😭

After Germany once again failed in Eurovision with a irrelevant and outdated song I need to point out, that Zoe Wees is from Hamburg and proves to the world, that Germany does have some talented musicians. Keep going Zoe. We are proud of you, your talent and your strenth.

Kim Petras (broken glass with Kygo) is also from Germany and I guess I am the only german who noticed that besides she is the youngest transgender and got so successful in the US. Zoe is such a talented singer and I am glad she is singing in english to gain more success.

Why such a fantastic singer like Zoe does not represent Germany in Eurovision? A new song with such a brilliant voice wins and makes happy millions of people (in Germany at least) for the next 15 years :-)

@@kasimirk.8437 the Problem is the reputation of the ESC in Germany in recent history. Look, in 2016 we got Jamie-Lee (The Voice of Germany winner 2015) as our represantative and she finished last, although she was our biggest newcomer at the time. Many people blamed politics for the bad result, just like a year before with Ann-Sophie. Additionally, many people in Germany think that Eurovision is a Trash-Event where music pearls does not fit in, which is wrong in my opinion because countries like Italy (winner of this year) even send the winner of their biggest music festival (San Remo), which has still a good reputation in Italy. But all in all, it is hard to encourage german artists to go to the ESC, which has also to do with our boardcaster NDR who (like the BBC in the UK) do not give anything about it because we're automatically in the final but we don't want to host it next year. The funny thing is, that artists like Zoe Wees use the ESC still as a promotion platform because the TV-Rating is still good in Germany (although it decrease a bit in recent years). And so, she did perform in the pre- und aftershow of the german ESC-boardcasting-programme.

To anyone reading this, if you’ve lost someone or more than one person to this virus my heart goes out to you. To anyone who has someone battling for their lives I’m fighting with you. It’s going to be hard and it’s ok to cry and breakdown and feeling lost and not knowing what’s next is also normal. But if at anytime you’re out of energy and need to be held up and carried you can borrow my wings until you’re strong enough to manage on your own

Hi. I just found this song and it instantly brought me to tears. This hits home. Even though my mother never died. I can still relate to this song because when I was 8 yrs old, she left me with my dad and never came back. It took me years to get over the fact that she will never come back to take me. It was tough growing up throughout holidays because she would magically show up on Christmas with presents that I couldn't even use. When I got to a certain age I understand why my stepmother and father didn't want her around me. She would bring happiness to me for the 5 minutes she visit and then leave me crushed not knowing what I did wrong. I'm 18 now and I finally realized that I have a stepmother who loves me in ways my mother couldn't. But there are still days when I think about if she ever misses me and why she never tried fighting for me. A lot of days I just want her to open up her arms for me to fun into

hallo zoe! meine mom starb dieses jahr + sie fehlt mir,und mir kommen die tränen bei deinen songs!!! ich bin zwar schon ein alter knochen (60),aber ich höre gern jute mucke,ob metal,pop,house usw. + jetz zählt deine auch dazu! der song "control" mit "deinem" kinderchor WAR/IST der haaaammer!!! ich wünsch dir ein frohes,glückliches xmasfest + guten rutsch ins neue jahr!!!

Since I’ve heard this song 🎧 it has been a hard battle for me loosing so many people growing up but I was a child of a single mother with two girls until my mom met this man who became my Dad it will be 4 years in February he was none other than best friend as well he became someone who we all adored but loosing him was the hardest part wishing so badly he was hear how I miss that I can’t call him like I use to every day till this day I haven’t been able to morn him right nor anyone else that I’ve lost now I’m afraid of loosing my mom by that point I wouldn’t be able to really get through but I will have too but listening to Zoe’s songs have really helped so much more so I’ve been diagnosed 2 years ago with a brain aneurysm and chronic fibromyalgia two years ago thank you Zoe keep making beautiful music with such a beautiful heart and voice

Und die Gelddruckmaschiene läuft und läuft und läuft. Mit sowas ist man natürlich auf der sicheren Seite den es betrifft JEDEN. Hunderttausende von Menschen sind in der Lage ihre Trauerarbeit selbst zu bewältigen und tragen es nicht medienwirksam in die Öffentlichkeit. Das Gejammer und Geheule in jedem Song geht mir mittlerweile auf die Nerven, ist ja fast noch schlimmer wie bei Grönemeyer. Und die Show die sie bei Wetten Dass....? abgezogen hat, von wegen I am so international i don´t speak german anymore war einfach nur unreif und lächerlich. Jetzt wird jedes neue Gejammer was rauskommt(gefühlt alle 4 Wochen) überall hoch und runter gedudeld und spätestens in 1-2 Jahren, wenn die Leute satt sind von dem depressiven Mist, der einem dazu zwingt darüber nachzudenken wo das nächste Fenster ist aus dem man sich stürzen kann, kräht kein Hahn mehr nach äh....Zoe Wees

Ich weiß ich habe bereits mal ein Kommentar zu diesem Lied geschrieben aber es trifft mich diesmal so viel anders und härter wenn ich dieses Lied höre. Ich bin an einem Punkt in meinem Leben angekommen wo es einfach nicht mehr weitergeht. Meine Oma und mein Opa waren mein Leuchtturm in meinem Leben. Sie waren immer für mich da Tag und Nacht. Sie waren mein Hafen. Jetzt treibe ich ohne Ziel auf dem Meer. Immer wenn ich dieses Lied höre, singe ich laut mit. Egal was alle denken. In der Hoffnung sie hören es da oben. In der jetzigen Zeit, wo Corona und Krieg unser Leben bestimmen, tut es noch so viel mehr weh, nicht ihren Rat zu hören..
