Thank you for much for this walkthrough. However, I am having a bit of trouble to understand what the difference is between Zoho Books and Zoho inventory. When should you use what app?

Hi Stefan, The primary difference is that Zoho Books is an accounting software, whereas the Zoho Inventory is an order management software. So, whilst Zoho Books lets you take care of your accounting needs such as raising invoices, tracking the cash flow, managing your Receivables & Payables and staying tax compliant, you can manage your orders in Zoho Inventory. There are separate invoice count limits on Zoho Inventory and Zoho Books. Once integrated, how are these limit counted is something I couldn't get an answer from Zoho Support of either Books or Inventory. Perhaps you an help, Sofers?

Are you guys planning to develop a Front End for Point of Sale? At the moment, it is only limited to shipping products. Other companies also exist and need also an inventory management system.

Hi Anand, We regret to inform you that it is not possible to track consumables in Zoho Inventory. However, as a workaround, we suggest you create a separate warehouse and track them. We manufacture & distribute to numerous retail shops our products; many shops we only sell on consignment, some shops we supply at wholesale & we also have our own retail shops. When I transfer stock to multiple shops for consignment, we send multiple times a month but these shops only pay for the sales incurred during this period. We need to track inventory sent to them as well as the sales according to their monthly sales reports. Can ZOHO accommodate our needs?

However, you can also use the Zoho Analytics integration if you wish to create customisable reports. Nice sistem but, we do 95% of Dropship and its little bit confus all the proces. I really hope you add the shippong traking like Aftership in this option too.

Why can't you create a NON CLOUD version. Our vendors require our inventory to be accounted for LOCALLY. Do you have anything like that?

Hello zoho team ,I meet a very big probelm that i can not open my zoho inventory for the whole company . the status is ,i can open it anywhere out of office(same internet company ) and also can open the zoho inventroy by 4G data . but our office can not work as we can not open it in the office even we arleady tried the other place with same interest company here in the philippines . we already tried to contact with ur technology team for more than one week ,but no any techology give us support and we still can not work until now . is there anyone can give us a help to solve this issue ? thanks !

1. No unit of measures calculation. 2. Adding batch numbers on bill is wrong. 3. Can't receive payment fr sales order. 4. No product labels. 5. Batch number doesn't show on packing slip. Good system but they don't understand how logistic should work.

Hi, Apologies for the delay in response. Please find the answers to your queries below. 1. We are working on the UOM feature and we'll keep all users posted once the feature is available. 2. We're working on the option to add the batch details on the package and receives. It is in the beta testing phase and will be available by end of this month. 3. In Zoho Inventory, payments can be recorded only against invoices. However, you can record this as an advance payment. Payments Received > +New > Enter the details and save without applying the amount to any invoice. You can later apply this amount to the corresponding invoice. 4. We'd like to know more about product labels and your use case. Kindly drop us an email to support@zoho-inventory.com, so that we can assist you with it. 5. As mentioned above, the feature is in the beta testing phase and it will be available by the end of this month. Hope this helps. @@yousefalmalki8306 bro, I. Tested. Over 40 softweres and all missing features unless you are willing to pay 2k a month and spend 5 months for implantation. Zoho one offer the best customer service out there and they listen to us.

Very complicated and you cannot import bulk items to the inventory.

Hi D, Sorry that you feel this way. Regarding items, you can import them in bulk. You'll have to add the fields Opening stock and Opening stock rate in your file and map them to the corresponding fields in Zoho Inventory.
