The short answer is yes. The long one is that most wanted offers what is basically an interceptor with more people. This means that there’s no arbitrary “finish” where the game is over, and having more people allows for increased complexity, but not in a bad way. It is just overall a more interesting and fun cop vs. racer game mode.

Whats also good about this is the various strategies you could do. I once had a most wanted run where i basically went on deliberate loops around the airfield so that my teammates could catch up though there was one teammate who was a very good bodyguard. I even tried using the jammer on corners as a bodyguard to throw some cops off. Or the time where i managed to cut off a most wanted guy from that loop in the highway section, using the spikes to stop him and all the cops ganged up. Most wanted is very chaotic and it just makes for a very fun mode that i could never get bored on. Well apart from when a most wanted racer is afk

The online part of this game and cars is why I can play for years PS3 to PS4 and still not get bored!! I love the competition online too makes it fun.

Actually, it makes sense. The police makes an inside "overtake" at the turn (putting the lock on too far to the right), then position correctly at the last moment (lock on is centered again).

This is like hunting pack game mode from GTA:Online the difference is the most wanted one here is using a hypercar in GTA the key target drives a heavy truck or a van
