The duo who wrote Zombieland - Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese - also wrote the Deadpool movies. The Bill Murray cameo was original supposed to be Patrick Swayze, but he sadly passed away before filming. Woody Harrelson is good friends with Bill Murray, so he called Murray personally to step in and cameo in Swayze's place.

The sequel is fun as well. The funny thing is that by the time the second one came out all 4 principal cast members were Oscar nominees (with Emma Stone as the sole winner of the group (she won her 2nd this year)). The trailer for the 2nd film even pointed out this hilarious fact as well.

It's the little things, like the gas station guy who tried to scam a little girl and got scammed himself. Same guy sitting on the toilet when the zombie came under the door.

That most unnecessary kill is not on Columbus. It was set in motion when Tallahassee & Wichita pitched him as a scared "bunny" to prank, without taking into account that he's a bunny who survived by killing for as long as they had.

I would say, the second is just as good as the first! There's a chance it might not _feel_ that way, because the first one was so unique and the second one isn't a brand-new product anymore.

Also I love the concept that no one uses names, but instead their home States or whichever one they want to identify with.

The sequel is just as fun honestly, absolutely worth the watch. Personally I think the first is a better "zombie" movie, while the second leans more on their unique take on the genre and tries to be more comedic, if that makes sense.

I highly recommend "Little Miss Sunshine" (2006), starring Abigail Breslin (the younger sister). A dark comedy about a dysfunctional family on a road trip, from New Mexico to California (2 days car ride), trying to get their daughter there in time for a child beauty pageant.

I actually really like Zombieland 2. It is genuinely IMO just as good as the first. I think the only reason for the lukewarm response it got was due to there being "zombie fatigue" from zombie movies and tv shows flooding the market like crazy between the time that the first and 2nd one came out.

Columbus talking about Facebook wasn't a reference to The Social Network. Zombieland was filmed in early 2009, and Jesse Eisenberg didn't even get cast for The Social Network until mid 2009.

The sequel is totally worth it. Perhaps not as good as the first one but by a very small margin. The new characters, new problems and expansed lore on their zombie world makes it a very entertaining movie. I hope they don't make a third one though. I feel they did what they needed to do with the two movies. And thanks a lot for the reaction! it was a joy rewatching some of these scenes with your commentary. :D

Honestly, it's my second favorite contemporary zombie movie, outside of Shaun of the Dead and Land of the Dead. I prefer a bit of fun with zombie media, and the synergy gets to survive better here rather than be put up against bloodthirsty odds as is usual. One scene that really nailed it for my tastes is after the bit of them trashing that Kemosabe tourist trap, you see their drive thru the nite of swapping out rest periods and bullshittin'~ All of them keeping an eye on teaching Little Rock how to drive, talking about grooming habits, Columbus letting his guard down on his buckle-up rule, and Tallahassee having his mind blown on the subject of Hannah Montana'. You endear characters with realistic and personable weirdness, but they also own 'em, if that makes sense. Once you have THAT dynamic, turning 'em loose in a zompocalypse is just bacon on the burger ✨ Enjoy the sequel, it's a beast all it's own, plus it has THE best Donkey Kong reference I've ever seen in a zombie movie, and I HAVE _SEEN A COUPLE._

This was filmed in my hometown so it’s really funny seeing some of the scenes! The amusement park is actually Wild Adventures just outside Valdosta, Georgia

It's got exactly the mood you're asking for, even if it's not a real rollercoaster. You shoot dinosaurs while riding around in a jeep. It's fun. Would recommend the booth experience over an imitation.

A movie you should watch is "SPEED" featuring Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock, and Jeff Daniels. It's about a cop trying to save people on a bus with a bomb and the bomber wants money.

I'm sure there are others, but Universal Florida has a Men in Black ride, where you shoot aliens while on the ride and see who gets the most points. Pretty cool.

HOLY 💩!!!!!! Please watch the second one!!!! It stands as one of the truly great sequels in movie history!

The MIB ride at Universal Studios is actually exactly what you said, riding around and shooting aliens. It's a bit old now but still my favorite attraction there.

Ithe fast Zombies were always more challenging especially when they chase you, plus the "Double Tap" rule always stuck in my head to this very day when I play zombie games

True they ARE stuck, BUT, I don't think that even TODAY amusement parks don't have manual control mechanisms. There's likely a manual lever or switch inside the control box somewhere. and even if there isn't there's most certainly ladders in the maintenance lockers all over the Park.

The sequel is also very good. It felt like a really nice reunion of characters. And even the new characters were fun

Still though, Woody has to be an exceptional shooter, otherwise locking himself in that cage is more likely to kill himself with ricochet's. Those are very small holes to shoot through under duress like that. AND he's staying away from the cages, meaning he's shooting through the holes at d distance. VERY difficult to do; especially when he's not actually even aiming properly. He's just pointing and shooting.

You should watch Ghostbusters next since it’s turning 40 this year!

The objective is to get the High Score so you can get Aerith's Umbtella weapon OR you can also get a weapon for Sid OR even the Masamune Blade (Sephiroth's sword) for Cloud. A least I THINK it's a weapon for Cloud, I haven't played the OG FF7 in almost 25 years. lol.

When I was a child there was a brand of Chips called Hostess and they had THE BEST EVER Barbecue flavor of any chip on the market. It was Hostess Hot barbecue flavor chips. I really can't say exactly when they stopped making them, but was was AFTER the company was acquired by Frito/Lays (so actually, I guess that's when they stopped lol) I only ever ONCE had a barbecue flavor of chips have that exact taste and it was a no name brand from a grocery store, and even THEN when I went back to get another bag it was a different flavor. From the exact same no name brand. That ONE bag of chips was different than the others. lol. I felt like I was being Punk'd. lol

You can absolutely smoke weed out of a hookah, I used to have a 3 tube hookah and would take a little bit of hookah tobacco and use it to hold broke up weed together so it wouldnt go down the holes and pop the charcoal in and smoke it. It was my favorite way to smoke

The last time I watched this movie was on HBO TV channel and I was in my teens. Compared to Resident Evil, it was a easy movie to understand about zombie survival which had a more science fiction viewpoint like Matrix series.

I saw two movies in theaters in 2019. Zombieland 2, and The Dead Don't Die (a zombie movie starring Bill Murray, and the driest humor ever put to film.) Zombieland 2 is on par with the first one.

Another funny zombie movie is "The Walking Deceased". It's a spoof zombie movie like Scary Movie. It's spoofing The Walking Dead, Zombieland, and I believe Warm Bodies.

Little Rock explaining Hannah Montana to Woody is the highlight of this film.

Please check out Zombieland 2, as well as the movie "Warm Bodies", which is a zombie rom-com about a self-aware zombie (who narrates the movie) that falls in love with a girl. It's really out there, but it's pulled off incredibly well.

The sequel was made 10 years later with the original cast returning. This movie was a real hit back in the day, concept and humor were fresh and fantastic. People loudly asked for a sequel, or a TV show. Sadly for whatever reason we didn't get either, when they eventually released the belated sequel a whole decade later the magic was long gone. Double Tap is not a bad film but nowhere near the first one.

I LOVE Zombie movies and this is one of my favorites. Along with Train to Busan and Shaun of the Dead. If you haven't done a reaction to Train to Busan, that's a MUST.

Dawn of the Dead (2004) is one of the best zombie movies imo. Certainly my favorite one. You should definitely check it out.
