To fix the "not being able to use SPen if phone is lying flat", simply buy a case that evens out the back camera section w/ the rest of the body. SOLVED.

Even a slim case solved most of his complaints. I out a super slim case on and it made the camera stop bumping and the edges not hurt.

I absolutely LOVE this phone. Two things that would've made it better: 1) keep the S pen on the right side. 2) separate the power & volume buttons more. My Pixel was opposite, power on top of the volume rockers and I continually press the power button while looking to lower the volume instead. That's frustrating. Need another half inch gap between power and volume keys. They're too close together.

@@judenjilah7996, agreed. 256 GB should've been standard. I'm sure Samsung knew their chip obviously wasn't on par with the Snapdragon 865+ so they wanted to give those getting the Exynos chip more memory as restitution. While I definitely would've preferred 256 GB of memory, given the choice of Snapdragon 865+ w/128 GB vs Exynos w/256 GB, I, along with the majority of users would opt for the better Snapdragon chip. Having the SD card makes 128 vs 256 not that big a deal.

@shiestjoo the advantage with owning a Note is that you can easily download a Gcam mod if you don't like the default Samsung camera and still keep the other benefits of the phone, but if you own a pixel device, the only benefit you get is the camera (especially for pictures because Samsung cameras have better zoom & ultra wide cameras)

Great detailed review! I've been using the exynos version for more than a month now and I love it! Battery improved overtime. I am now getting 8hrs of SoT as compared to about 5hrs in the first few weeks. S-pen is handy when signing documents, editing and a lot more. The camera takes amazing shots. The Note20U package is one of the best phones in the market right now!

@@BlueGearReviews heating not so much unless signal is very poor and data is on. Battery life is mediocre. Been getting 5hrs SoT again if I am connected to cellular data. Wifi gives longer battery consumption

I got mine on August 17th and I luv it! I have the 512gb model in Mystic Black. It is a fingerprint magnet but it's in a case 24/7 so doesn't really matter. I also purchased a Z Fold 2 on September 18th. Kept it for about a week but returned it in favor of the Note 20 Ultra. This phone is a beast!

Comprehensive , non bias and very educational review , managed to order a Note 20 ultra with SD865 version after watching this video . Thanks a lot for the advice! Would love the Spigen case too if its still available.. the tough armor version looks good .. love spigen as it is very afordable and protects the phone well , been using spigen for many years.

I love the note 20 ultra, just upgraded from the note 8..its a great phone! Nice screen and speakers are great, but I would of preferred a flat screen cuz its better for drawing, and I really miss the notification LED..battery life could have been better and for $1300 it should have came with earbuds and s pen tips but still an amazing phone

To me, the curved display makes the Note 20 Ultra screen the absolute most beautiful phone screen that I have ever seen!! Enough to make me, an iphone user since my 5s, my very first smartphone, switch over to Android. And I have loved it ever since!

I love curved displays. My friends complain about mistouches when they use my phone, but I always point out how grippy they are when holding phones. I get this $1000 with of technology, but relax, phone drops are rare

I have the Snapdragon version of the Note 20 Ultra since it came out. I love it. So far, I've had no problems with it. Can't beat my Huawei Mate 20X at battery life, but not really a problem. I love the s-pen, which is why I've had all the Note phones.

Awesome video. Pre-ordered my Note 20 Ultra (US) and have used it for 2 months. I love it, especially the Large screen display for movies and KZfaq. Using the AT&T Promo, I returned my Note 9, receiving $1000, so my phone cost $300, with an extra Samsung $150 Free accessories, I picked up the Galaxy Buds Plus. I average 6.5 hours of Screen on Time, I unplug at 8am and by 12am I still have 20-25% power left.

You're such a softie. Ou, the edges hurt, the phone wobbles. Rolling my eyes. A case will fix that. I love my note 20 ultra. But I still enjoy your reviews. By the way, Tech21 has the best cases! I was disappointed in Spigen cases after shattering the back of my S8+. No protection at all!

In my experience of dropping many a smartphone while working on the railroad, it all comes down to where it hits. I've dropped phones off an engine from 20 feet and not have them break because they landed flat on their face or square on its back, and in others, I've had them fall out of my pocket 3 feet, land right on a corner and it shatters instantly. The case does have some to do with it, but the area where it lands has significantly more to do with if it's going to break.

Could you please make a complimentary video, where you go through how many of the Note 20 Ultra's issues have been fixed with the latest version of One UI. I'm doing my research as I would like to potentially switch to the Note line and if there is no new Note coming this year, or if it lacks the SD card slot, then I will be getting this one. I traded my note 8 for the note 20 5g..then regretted not getting the ultra.. so took the 5g back and got the ultra .. so happy I did..HUGE Upgrade from the 8

Mine is on its way as I just purchased mine in Australia which is the Exynos version. I am now concerned about the heating up issue. Perhaps a case will fix this issue..... I've seen a case fixes the hump issue on a flat surfaces so that is a plus. Crossing fingers it will be ok..... I'm upgrading from a beloved note 9 which I'm keeping as a back up phone..... From Sony Xperia to the notes and never looked back.

Hey there! After watching a video, I hope you relieve your eyestrain. Let me help you with some exercises. 🐈⬛ 1. Stretch out your arm (about 10in) and look at your thumb for 10 seconds. 2. Put your hand down and look ahead for 10 seconds at this turn. 3. Again, stretch out your arm(which you used just before) and thumb up and then bring it in front of your face (about 4in) slowly keeping eyes on it. 4. I returned mine, as I was not impressed with the battery life. Great phone, however we in the UK needed SD version. Battery life is very poor

I'm not native in English, but I usually watch your videos without subtitles cuz I got used to watch Tech videos in English but, in 7:35 , "I haven't really been able to note is that much of an improvement" was sooo fast, I replayed it for many times in order to understand it :)

Man loooovvveee my n20u, it's the ultimate best ever. 512gbs all around viewing and all the other features. Yes yes pricey but it's all in there I'll just have to deal, with tht love it great video

The overheating issue is one that I can relate to! I got mine a week after release and the first few days of having it I thought it was faulty so had it replaced but then realised the replacement was no different! Weirdly it gets less hot now but still has its moment! 🙄

Very rarely comment on KZfaq, but felt compelled on this occasion. Just gotta say I agree with the many comments praising this review. Very professional imo. Such a pleasure to actually watch a non biased review (as far as any person can be anyway), that covers all, or majority of bases in a mature, informative and entertaining way. I watch loads of KZfaq content - a real wide mix of stuff - and it's always nice when you happen upon something genuinely worthy of a subscribe. And just to balance out that positive angle (this is the Internet after all 😉), the almighty KZfaq algorithm still needs a kick in the nuts at times. Of course it's different for everyone, but my god, the amount of dreadful vids I have endured , before it threw up this one, is crazy. Sometimes it seems like there's actually no logic or rules governing what is thrust upon us...

I don't use the S-pen much, so its not much of a problem for me. So far, I've had the phone a couple of months and find it comfortable but I have a case with a more of a round curves in the corners. Thank you for the great review. I have two cases so I will not enter for that.

Exynos not so bad.its like 855 snapdragon!I have Exynos and till now I am very happy.ok,snapdragon is better, but ...its not the end of the world and at daily use except 15% battery life, nothing annoying

Had for months! Updates from galaxy note s8 I love my phone. I have the bronze, bronze watch and the ear buds. I also use a outer box and covers on my phone screen, the cameras screen and my watches screen. I work as a server so it lasts so well with me.

I used to get new phones all the time. Thinking about getting this but my note 9 is still going strong. Many exciting phones coming out. Duo, ultra 20, galaxy fold 2. Might pull the trigger, might wait until next year.

I came from note 8 to note 20 ultra and it was a massive upgrade. BUT the note 9 is in the sweet spot Id say. If you have dolby atmos on the note 9 id stick with it and keep the headphone jack. If you want larger screen or for the camera go for it. Although if you don't know how to operate a camera very well and look at all the different settings within the camera I would say dont get it for the camera.

This is weird, my Exynos version gets at least 6 hours of SOT with around 7 hours of screen off time and all features turned on. Just wondering, do you put your main sim card on the phone for these 2 months?
