The formula of current American cinema... hot chicks that can fight, car chases, guns, good guy black guy,. lots of very loud sound effects, ..guns,... white guys who appear to be able to fight but lose to guys who don't appear to be able to fight...oh...and more guns.

Agreed. Love Jason Statham. Arthur King was a welcome change to all this ACP-riddled, slashing demonic violence. If life does truely mimic art 2024 is going to groom a fucked up generation. Quality feature films only on my drives.

That was my first thought when I saw that first scene of them all lined up down the hallway. Bargain bin The Raid, just not quite as good. Nothing beats The Raid 2. That took it to another level.

27:37 I wanted to make a joke about this but the whole thing is so fkn depressing that it's kind of impressive. So they had 90 minutes (ish) worth of footage and decided that that is the joke that they want to highlight during the trailer. I actually got mad. "I promise not to laugh. I promise not to laugh much". People filmed and edited the entire thing and someone decided "THAT is the essence of our creation. That is what the world needs to see".
