I never met Ricky, but I was acquainted with his dad James Hill. He and my dad were pastor friends. My brother in law was in the same class with Ricky at Haltom City, Texas.

This movie brings full glory to God. What an amazing true story. Whether you are a believer or not, you can NOT deny the power in this movie. You will leave restored, uplifted, and empowered. I am disabled also. " He took my legs and gave me wings too"❤

When a parent must stand back and trust that their kid is making the choice they need to make no matter the outcome. To love them and support them through it. Whew!

Took my kids to see this and it was amazing. It was a bit of a tear jerker in a good way. I'd recommend anyone watch this- very inspirational.

Hands down best baseball movie and quite possibly top 5 movie for me. Enjoyed it with my son. My son is 9 and plays baseball for a high level travel team. We both had tears during a majority of the movie. Unbelievable piece!

This movie is an underdog movie guys. HOLY CHIT! I am not even Caucasian and I am not even religious and this movie has more value in it than both Barbie and Oppenheimer combined. It made me cry and it made me curse and I am a 33 year old male. So good! I hope it does well at the box office. Well done!

I talked to Dennis Quaid a few months ago as we shared stories on the life of Johnny Rodriguez who he cut a country song with in Bakersfield, California. He never mentioned this flick. He's such a nice guy. I'll take time to watch it.

Good movie. I recommend it. This is one of Quaid's best performances--at least since "Wyatt Earp." Maybe his best ever performance. Better written than those silly Kev Sorbo movies by the writer of "Hoosiers."

The very first scene threw me off, round hay bales long before there were round balers. Why don't people do a little research before making a movie?

I saw the film Sunday & found it very heavy-handed throughout with respect to religion. I am a Cbristian, so seeing a film in which faith is a factor in the story does not trouble me at all. But, in this film, characters behave in one manner in relation to the story, but then frequently seem to step out of character to cite & quote one scripture or another & deliver a religious message. Young Mr. Hill obviously found strength & inspiration in his faith, and that message was clear throughout. So, all the times when characters interrupted scenes, changed the manner of speaking used otherwise & delivered the message explicitly were unnecessary & made what might have been an interesting "young man's faith enables him to defy the odds" film an awkward, not very subtle film that you would see in a Sunday School class. If the intention of its makers was to attract others to the religion, I do not think they succeeded. Instead, the "message" of the film is likely just to make viewers squirm.
