I can't beleive how calm that cub was during all that. He totally looked sedated but wasn't! They are the cutest thing ever!

I like the look that the mother gives the camera at the very end, like 'Do you want to try to get to my kids? Would you like to experience what it would be like to be rent limb from limb?'

Snow leopards seem very placid by nature , Captive ones at least are far calmer than say Bobcats and attacks on humans are virtually unknown even if the animal is threatened . When my normally well behaved Tabby went to the vet for the first time , he went mental and.tried to wreck the place . The Vet said he was a hooligan and didnt want to see him back any time soon .

i think attacks on humans are virtually unknown probably b/c there about 50 of them left in the wild.

@@maxcady4208 @ Hundreds of endangered wild snow leopards are killed each year. As many as 450 have been killed each year since 2008, a report on the fate of the mountain cats estimates. Only 4000 to 7000 of the animals are thought to remain in the 12 mountainous Asian countries they inhabit.

У них особенно красивая морда, и глаза - они необыкновенные! Они как бы смотрят в тебя, в душу! Очень проникают в тебя всем своим обликом, всем существом! Почему то другие животные не так действуют на психику.

Informémonos un poco. El Leopardo de Nieve es una especie casi extinta gracias a la dulce mano del hombre que los usa para comerciar en circos o pieles, entre otras cosas. Que bueno que existan lugares como este capaces de darse el trabajo de prevalecer su especie. El microchipeo es sólo para asegurarse de que estos animales no se vayan a un lugar indebido, es una forma de garantizarles una forma de vivir mas plena.

@almayatic The tigers seem particularly fond of their habitat - I've seen one of them cavorting about several times. With the jaguar and the snow leopard, it's harder to tell. Most of the times I've seen them, they're sacked out. And, yes. Yay for the Woodland Park Zoo!

You don't have to believe me. She's been a Woodland Park Zoo attendant for 5 years and shows up at 2:22. It's not that hard to believe.

Snow leopards and honey badgers both don't give a fuck but with the opposite kind of energy. These kitties are so chill! Is it a trait of this species or is it just these particular ones, I wonder...?

Gorgeous, beautiful creatures.....I looked on Wiki and their numbers are estimated at around 9,000 by 2040.....I hope by 2040 it becomes closer to 20,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know quite a few people would also hope the numbers climb instead of fall.!!!!!!!!!!!! Lets hope GOD sees it that way.... He is in control also...………. not just humans. What's his plan???????

They're so docile, and not really very big compared to the other big cats, it's a wonder they haven't been bred as pets.

Even without holding the backs of their necks they're that calm. Normally you can only get a kitten that calm by pinching the back of their neck.

kenshin kennen Snow leopards always look kind of "sad." That's just the way their facial markings are. Same with clouded leopards.

kenshin kennen @ You are right! The kitty does look sad (sleepy) and it is not because of their facial markings. This kitty is not supposed to behave like this! By nature, cats are very active. This kitty either very sick or sedated, despite them (the vets) saying that he was not sedated. The kitty's behaviour speaks for itself.
